Volvo Trucks Malaysia launched Volvo Connect, a new customer portal that offers a single interface for digital services and functions with a single point of access. This integrates and consolidates connectivity of all truck operations on a single system. The official launch of Volvo Connect was at the Malaysia Commercial Vehicle Expo (MVCE) 2022 (ongoing till tomorrow, 12th March) and was graced and launched by YB Dato Henry Sum Agong, Deputy Minister of Transport during his visit to the Volvo Trucks booth at the exhibition.
According to Volvo Trucks, whether you drive your own truck or manage a fleet of them, you can connect critical aspects of your business at one place, with one log in and one view. Volvo Connect is the interface for your operational digital services to increase overall productivity by keeping every aspect of your truck or fleet of trucks monitored.
Volvo Connect gives you access to a range of services that boost operational uptime. For example: You can have a overview of the status of all your assets, including warnings and alerts. See all service visits you have planned and booked. You have the fleet management system, which is Dynafleet, Dynafleet safety Service which tracks critical safety indicators like harsh brake usage and seat belt use (which can be used to coach drivers) and also workshop history of the trucks.
Volvo Connect includes fleet management services like Volvo's Dynafleet Positioning, which gives you a real-time overview of every truck’s position and status – making it easy to keep track of your trucks and transport-related assets.. It also gives you access to performance-boosting services like Dynafleet Fuel and Environment, which makes it easy to follow up on fuel consumption over time – and coach drivers to improve fuel-saving skills.
Basically, the system allows all your trucks, activities, even your insights in one digital interface. if you are already a Dynafleet user, it basically means more integration making everything accessible via your desktop or even smartphone. By bringing your business monitoring together, Volvo Connect saves time, eliminates hassle and gives you a clearer understanding of the things that matter. Helping you to prepare, plan and continuously improve. This way you can take truck uptime, efficiency and productivity to new heights.
Volvo Connect will be availale in Malaysia and customers can subscribe to the service with a low monthly subscription fee. Volvo Trucks will also be offering Volvo Connect to customers who have purchased new Volvo Truck models as a value added service with no extra cost for up to 12 months.
