BMW Group Malaysia performance report - Market leader in the Premium Electric Vehicle (EV) segment this year to date

Today, I took some time off my somewhat surprisingly busy schedule (especially since I have been slowly easing into semi-retirement from the looks of it) and spent a few hours with BMW Group Malaysia over at their latest roadshow in front of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in KLCC. There, the new BMW i7 limousine takes center stage and a showcase of this EV variant of the latest 7 series that is on sale. Recently launched, but now BMW Malaysia puts it in the limelight after just launching it with some of the media folk getting test drives. They also announced that in terms of the total BMW Group Malaysia, they seem to have taken lead in the Premium EV Segment amidst outstanding EV deliveries to date, for the year 2023.

BMW Malaysia today launched the latest additions to the  BMW 7 Series line-up for the Malaysian market. These locally assembled luxury limousines are the New BMW 750e xDrive M Sport and New BMW 750e xDrive Pure Excellence, and both come with with electrified drivetrains (hybrid) that offer a range of innovative technology and low-carbon emission driving experiences without compromising on performance and luxury. As what it should be for a BMW.

The Facelifted BMW 7 Series Has Been Launched with One Variant for Now - The 740Le xDrive Pure Excellence

Aside from launching their new flagship SUV, the BMW X7 SAV, BMW Malaysia had finally unveiled the New BMW 7 Series. Sporting some restyled bits, notably the more prominent front end, the New BMW 7 Series will be offered here in only one variant for now, - the BMW 740Le xDrive Pure Excellence variant. This is a new-generation Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) which has a range of around 46km in electric mode and will cost interested parties RM594,000 before any insurance.
