BMW Malaysia today launched the latest additions to the BMW 7 Series line-up for the Malaysian market. These locally assembled luxury limousines are the New BMW 750e xDrive M Sport and New BMW 750e xDrive Pure Excellence, and both come with with electrified drivetrains (hybrid) that offer a range of innovative technology and low-carbon emission driving experiences without compromising on performance and luxury. As what it should be for a BMW.
The retail pricing of the New BMW 750e xDrive Pure Excellence (above in white) and estimated pricing for the New BMW 750e xDrive M Sport (below) both of which come with a 5-Year Extended Warranty and Service Package, as well as Sales and Service Tax (on the road, without insurance) are RM 649,800.00 and an estimated RM 700,000.00 respectively.
However, BMW Malaysia says that the M Sport variant is actually limited to 48 units only and not a regular production variant. So if you are interested in that little bit extra, you'd better place your order as soon as possible.

The New BMW 750e xDrive M Sport and the New BMW 750e xDrive Pure Excellence feature an eye-catching or even an eye brow rising appearance which some will be discussing about over cocktails or teh tarik. The styling is courtesy of the new split headlight design, enhanced with the BMW Iconic Glow crystal headlights, as well as the beautifully illuminated BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille frame that boasts a new luxury class design language. Having already seen the new 7 in all of its glory, I have to suggest that you take a look at it in the showroom and not in the photos as it is actually better looking in real like. Somehow, these latest generation of BMWs tend to look better in three dimensional form....but in the flesh rather than in pictures.
The new variants will also arrive with the latest generation BMW eDrive technology for PHEV models, complemented by the BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel drive system for maximum power.

Electrifying Luxury with the All-New BMW 7 Series.
The New BMW 750e xDrive M Sport and the New BMW 750e xDrive Pure Excellence share
predominantly similar characteristics in terms of power and performance, leaving room for distinctly
unique individualisation in the exterior and interior make-up of each variant. Both the new variants
feature daytime running lights enhanced with the BMW Iconic Glow crystal headlights – that when
illuminated, presents a multi-faceted ambient light reflection and a shimmering display from the
embedded Swarovski crystals. Contour lighting lends the BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille a stunning
look with LED elements that visually impresses in both night and day. The LED lighting units are
also part of the Great Entrance Moments, a special light show that welcomes passengers with a
carpet of light and activated interior lighting.
The tall and upright front section also features a slightly lowered number plate position, along with
increased dimensions from all angles – similar to the BMW i7. Owners will also be able to enjoy
automatic doors that enable occupants to open and close all doors automatically either via the
vehicle key, the Control Display, by voice command or directly via the door itself.
The extensive surface of the All-New BMW 7 Series is tightened with two precise lines that glide
along the sides, providing a discreet sense of dynamism to the two variants. The extended
wheelbase also provides more interior space and comfort for its passengers. The exclusive
horizontal M high-gloss Shadowline and M side sills in high-gloss Black enhance the appearance of
the M Sport variant, along with M front and rear aprons. Also exclusive to the New BMW 750e
xDrive M Sport are Style 907 bicolour 20-inch M aerodynamic wheels, while the New BMW 750e
xDrive Pure Excellence is equipped with Style 903 19-inch sport double spoke alloy wheels.
At the rear, the All-New BMW 7 Series boasts signature L-shaped BMW taillights with a purist
design, while the horizontal lines emphasise the vehicle’s width. A washer nozzle for the reverse
camera has also been integrated into the BMW logo for a more seamless look. Owners will also get
to enjoy up to 575 litres of boot space in the All-New BMW 7 Series.
Progressive Luxury meets Innovative Technology.
Welcoming the driver in the All-New BMW 7 Series is a new flat-bottomed two-spoke steering
wheel, while unique to the M Sport variant is a flat-bottomed three-spoke steering wheel wrapped in
the exclusive M Leather. The cockpit is luxuriously outfitted with the BMW Curved Display, featuring
the 12.3-inch Infotainment Display and 14.9-inch Control Display, accompanied by a new backlit
BMW Interaction Bar – an opulent centrepiece finished to look like a piece of crystal jewellery that
creates a magnificent ambiance for passengers to enjoy.
gloss fine-wood trim in fineline black with metal effect highlights in the M Sport variant, while the
Pure Excellence variant arrives with a fine-wood trim oak mirror finish with grey metallic highlights.
The exclusive CraftedClarity crystal glass trim can be seen in the switch for fore-and-aft seat
adjustment in the door trim panels, the BMW Controller, the volume control and the Start/Stop
button, as well as the gear selector switch.
Other standard elements include the Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound System, along with new My
Modes options consisting of ‘Relax’ and ‘Expressive’ which makes for an ambience that maximises
personal well-being. The My Mode ‘Relax’ combines calm images in the central display, a massage
function, a gentle soundscape and an option to black out the window areas. The My Mode
‘Expressive’, on the other hand, accentuates the driving experience with lively colours
complementing the BMW IconicSounds Electric.
The Sky Lounge panoramic glass roof in the All-New BMW 7 Series grants a clear view of the sky
through a laminated glass structure that is UV-protected. Offering a more captivating ambience are
exclusive light graphics created by side-integrated LED modules that illuminate a silk-screened
pattern. Rear seat passengers in the New BMW 750e xDrive M Sport will also be able to enjoy the
Executive Lounge Seating feature that is exclusive to this variant, where the seat and backrest
angle can be adjusted individually, along with the adjustable lumbar support and memory function.
Unique also to the New BMW 750e xDrive M Sport is the BMW Theatre Screen – a 31.3-inch
panoramic screen for rear seat passengers that features 8K resolution paired with an integrated
high-end surround sound system, bringing an unrivalled viewing experience for passengers. With a
HDMI interface, the BMW Theatre Screen can also be connected to external devices such as a
smartphone or HDMI TV sticks. Additionally, users can control the system via the BMW Touch
Command, a sophisticated touchscreen control panel available in the rear doors that provide access
to all functions of the infotainment system, as well as lighting and seating functions.
The Powertrain and Drivetrain - Uncompromising Power with an Electrified Drivetrain.
The All-New BMW 7 Series is powered by an in-line six-cylinder plug-in hybrid engine with BMW
TwinPower Turbo technology, paired with an electric motor featuring a battery capacity of 22.1 kWh,
integrated into the 8-Speed Steptronic transmission. Power generated by both drive units are
channelled to the road via the BMW xDrive intelligent all-wheel-drive system. The All-New BMW 7
Series records a top speed of 250 km/h, delivering 489hp (360 kW) and 700Nm of torque, and is
capable of a century sprint in just 4.8 seconds.
Driving assistance features that is exclusive to the New BMW 750e xDrive M Sport is the Driving
Assistant Plus, while the New BMW 750e xDrive Pure Excellence receives the Driving Assistant
Professional. Other offerings that are standard for both variants include the Parking Assistant Plus,
the BMW Live Cockpit Professional with Head-up Display as well as four-zone automatic air
conditioning. Standard safety features include ABS, Dynamic Stability Control, flat tyre monitor as
well as brake assist.
Exterior colour offering for the All-New BMW 7 Series include:
Oxide Grey Metallic, Black Sapphire Metallic as well as Mineral White Metallic. Exclusive to the New BMW 750e xDrive M Sport is the M Brooklyn Grey Metallic option, whereas the Sophisto Grey Metallic is exclusively offered to the New BMW 750e xDrive Pure Excellence.
Upholstery is offered in either BMW ‘Merino’ leather in Black or BMW ‘Merino’ leather in Tartufo for both variants of the All-New BMW 7 Series.
