Apollo Tyres Opens Their First Ever Tyre Service Centre in Malaysia - In Batu Pahat, Johor to be Precise


Apollo Tyres, have officially opened their first ever Apollo Truck Tyre Zone (ATTZ) centre in Malaysia.  Located in Batu Pahat, Johor, the ATTZ is Apollo's one stop solution centre for tyres which focuses more on commercial fleets. Equipped with modern automotive technologies, the newly opened centre will be managed by Sin Chu Hin, who are an established tyre supplier and distributor over in the southern region of Malaysia. It looks like this affordable brand of tyres are now moving into the commercial tyre market aside from offering budget tyres for passenger cars.


According to Apollo Tyres, the opening of the Apollo Truck Tyre Zone is in line with Apollo Tyres’ focus to provide its consumers with convenient access to its extensive services. The partnership with Sin Chu Hin is also another first for Apollo Tyres outside India. With Sin Chu Hin as one of their local partners, the tyre brand hopes that this will enable the delivery of quality products and services to the Malaysian market, while creating sustainable value for customers.

Satish Sharma, President, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Apollo Tyres Ltd had said at the launch that, “Apollo is committed towards bringing the best of our products and services to our customers. This state-of-the-art truck service centre brings together Apollo’s extensive experience in truck and bus radials along with Sin Chu Hin’s 80-yearlong local experience for a range of services and solutions for our fleet customers in Malaysia, further cementing our steadfast commitment to the Malaysian automotive industry. “

The ATTZ centre is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including a computerized truck tyre alignment machine, automatic tyre changer, nitrogen inflator and would offer end-to-end tyre related services for trucks and buses. These services are expected to reduce customers’ maintenance cost and fuel consumption. Taking the development in the dynamics of the vehicle platform, the ATTZ also has a training centre which will train the required personnel to guide their customers in making their decision in making tyre purchases.
