Century Battery has launched its latest
campaign for its products in Malaysia. This time around they have
decided to go the route of featuring large robots in their
advertisements – CenturyBots. It looks like the guys over at Century Battery have decided to play Transformers.
Four CenturyBots will be unveiled
gradually in the coming months and each one takes a name from Century
Battery's ..er...batteries. We have the Marathoner, the Ultramax and
the Hybrid. Then the established battery company has a new range that
is specially designed for continental vehicles.
The CenturyBots will be associated to
the following batteries as follows:
ULTRAMAX – a maintenance free battery
with 21 month warranty. SIRIM certified too. The ULTRAMAX robot can
take the most punishing journeys without letting your car down.
MARATHONER – a heavy duty maintenance
free battery built for optimum power. It offers reliable power to go
the distance.
HYBRID – the cost efficient battery
that is built with a special lead alloy technology for low
maintenance. This is practical and powerful for savings conscious
consumers.
And the there's a NEW SPECIALLY
DESIGNED FOR CONTINENTAL VEHICLES (SDFC) battery – this is
manufactured for top continental makes. It is a dependable gentle
giant and consistent as well as flexible and innovative. (Hey, don't
ask me how innovative....this is just the beginning of Century
Battery's campaign.)
So the CenturyBots will be utillised as
branding and personality to promote Century Battery's product range.
This is obivously slightly different from the normal marketing stuff.
We get mecha or robots into the picture now.
Promotional tie-ins include SMS
contests for both dealers and end-users. This will run from 1st
April 2015 to the 31st of March 2016. RM500 cash prize
will be given to lucky winners. There will be many I think. So if
you're in need of a battery, you may win something if you buy a
Century Battery.
Aside from the above contest,
authorised dealers can also win cash prizes when their point of sale
decorations are the most outstanding. i.e. dealers, built mega mecha
out of Century batteries or their boxes or both.
Head over to their Facebook page for more details.
