This event happened in late January 2025. I was a little preoccupied with many other things prior to the recent Chinese New Year celebrations that I actually forgot to publish this. The photos have been sitting in the draft folder of this blog for quite a while. The event is momentous, as this marks the first Scania bus sold in Malaysia with some sort of Advanced Driver Safety features in it. Ekspres Perdana, a brand under Tiara Pesona Sdn Bhd, expands its fleet with 60 units of the first Scania New Bus Generation K410CB6X2NI and K450CB6X2NI Euro 5 double-deck express coaches equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) for safety.
One of the oldest Automotive blogs in Malaysia. Since 2006 and going strong. Motoring-Malaysia.blogspot.my is an award winning Malaysian motoring / automotive / car news & reviews website or auto blog. It is where we rant and rave about cars, trucks, buses, motoring, motor vehicles and any interesting automotive industry related stuff. Unswayed in our point of view and darn proud of it! It's not about the numbers...it's about passion.

From left to right: Chandra Rajan, Scania Region Manager for Region East, Marie Sjödin Enström, Managing Director of Scania Southeast Asia, Dato’ Hj IR Mohamad Dalib, Director of Automotive Engineering Department of JPJ, Gary Archer, Services Director of Scania Southeast Asia, Wan Noaimadudin Wan Mohamad Kamal (Aiman), Branch Manager of Scania Kuala Terengganu, officiating the Launch of the Scania Malaysia Kuala Terengganu Service Centre.
In order to make life way easier for its customers on the East Coast, Scania (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. has officially launched its Kuala Terengganu service centre, further strengthening its sales and services for all customers in the East Coast region. Customers can now send their Scania trucks, buses and coaches, marine, industrial and power generation engines to this service centre for regular maintenance. This saves a lot of down time for those who are running Scania vehicles and machinery.
