Roadshows & Offers: Your Whee-lly Fun Day Carnival by Continental Tyres is happening this month of May

Continental Tyre Malaysia is having their first ever carnival extravaganza in Peninsular Malaysia. Three (3) roadshow carnivals will be held  in Penang, KL and JB for 3 weekends starting with this weekend in Auto City Juru Penang. Your Whee-lly Fun Day will consist of a number of activities such as a kids corner and ladies corner where respective visitors are able to take part in numerous challenges in winning exciting giveaways. Quite a historic event for Continental Tyre here in Malaysia.

Industry News: Continental’s tire plant in Alor Setar gets a new Plant Manager

The international tyre company Continental has announced the appointment of Carlos Bernabe as Plant Manager for its Passenger & Light Truck Tyres and Two Wheel Tyres manufacturing facility in Alor Setar, Malaysia. He joined the Continental Malaysia team in Alor Setar on January 1, 2017, succeeding Juergen Jacobs Dowling, who has been leading the plant for the past three years and is currently pursuing his career within Continental in South Africa.

Ah. Old Volkswagens. They do bring out some pretty nostalgic feelings in everyone. Usually some people just use them on weekend drives around their neighbourhood. Old Beetles and original Kombi Transporter vans get used sparingly by their owners and kept in pristine condition. But not these bunch of valiant people led by Mr Stephen Pang. They are on their way to Germany using 4 classic Volkswagens - three Kombis and a Beetle. 

Industry News: Tire Technology International names Continental 2017 Tire Manufacturer of the Year - Innovative steps in R&D, Testing and Production

Tyre manufacturer Continental  was honored by UK-based trade journal “Tire Technology International” with its 2017 Tire Manufacturer of the Year award. Continental was chosen by a panel of 27 judges from all over the world where is chose to recognise the company's efforts in its continuous investment in the fields of research & development, testing and production equipment.

Dunlop Formula D05 & Dunlop SP Sport J5 - Two new Dunlop Passenger Car Tyres are launched for the Malaysian market

Dunlop tyres had recently launched the Dunlop Formula D05 and the Dunlop SP Sport J5 for the Malaysian market. The D05 is the premium tyre of the two and is considered as a high performance all weather tyre with sizes from 15inch to 18inches whilst the SP Sport J5 is the comfort spec tyre and for the bread and butter segment (12inches to 15inches) of the market.
