Earlier today, at the newly opened Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia previewed the the all-new electric W520 C-Class. The premium sedan, in fully electric form should be officially launched at the very least early next year with an estimated price tag of RM360,888 before any insurance in one variant - the Mercedes-Benz C 300 4MATIC electric AMG Line Plus.
Built on the MB.EA electric only platform, it differs from the current internal combustion version C-Class (W206) that is currently ongoing, and most likely will receive a facelift since it was only launched 5 years ago in 2021 and has only received its facelift last August. So it is different, yet still a C-Class. Mercedes-Benz state that this first all-electric C-Class brings the hallmark elegance, comfort, and sportiness of one of Mercedes-Benz’s best-selling and most popular model series into the electric era. From the looks of it, it looks like the current C-Class, but with the latest, what I would call ' Three Pointed Stars Everywhere' styling with its LED headlights and taillights featuring the Star design.
