HINO officially opens the new West Port, Pulau Indah 3S Centre

Hino Motors Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (HINO) has officially opened its latest 3S Centre which is located in West Port, Pulau Indah on the 26th of October 2022. HINO had appointed Truck Solutions Sdn Bhd, who operates this new authorized 3S - Sales, Service, and Spare Parts centre. Strategically situated in West Port/Port Klang area, this new 3S centre aims to provide total support to HINO’s customers, especially those operating in logistics & transport services. This is the the first service centre in West Port that aims to provide top-notch vehicle services to support logistics and transport operation.

The opening ceremony was officiated by HINO Managing Director, Atsushi Uchiyama, and Truck Solutions Executive Director, Edward Tan Kim Siong as well as management members from both companies.

HINO has placed emphasis on customers’ businesses and has always aims to be customers’ best business partners by providing best-fit products and total support. Its fundamental of “Care for Customer” is not only covering customers themselves, but it is indeed related to customers’ operations. So when HINO looked at the high numbers of UIO (Units in Operation) in Port Klang, HINO had decided to open at least one 3S centre in West Port as the port facility is a multi-cargo terminal located in Pulau Indah and handles all types of cargos in containers, breakbulk, dry bulk, liquid bulk, vehicles (roll-on roll-off) and other conventional cargos. The volume of Hino trucks plying the route to and fro the facility is high and it makes a lot of sense to have a centre there.

HINO Managing Director, Atsushi Uchiyama said, “Port Klang was listed as our targeted area as it is the main trade route for import and export in Malaysia and there are high numbers of trucks passing in and out of this area. We see the need for authorized 3S centres or one-stop solutions to support customers as well as to ensure the quality of Hino products and promise genuine parts supplies.”

The new 3S centre is equipped with 27 service bays which includes 10 trailer bays that can fit 20-feet and 40-feet trailers, as well as two (2) tyre bays that provide tyre-related works. The total service centre sits on an area of approximately 1.5 acres, customers can also enjoy a variety of amenities such as comfortable lounges, complimentary Wi-Fi services, free flow of refreshments and beverages.

As regards to the Centre's operators, Truck Solutions Sdn Bhd also offers convenient services for customers including service maintenance and repair, weekly PUSPAKOM arrangement, on-site inspection, and 24-hour towing truck services.

Formerly known as VM Fleet Management Sdn Bhd, Truck Solutions Sdn Bhd was established since the year 2007. Truck Solutions Sdn Bhd has been in heavy-duty prime mover services since 2007 and provided one-stop service solutions to haulage industry for more than 14 years.

Truck Solutions started its partnership with HINO in 2020 as the first HASO (Hino Approved Service Centre) and has proven of its good track of service record, it is now appointed as one of Hino Authorised 3S Centre.

“Besides its strategic location in Port Klang, Truck Solutions has more than 10 years in truck servicing and their facilities meet our requirement to be Hino authorized 3S centre. We do not hesitate to appoint them as our new 3S, based on their excellent record track as our HASO in past two years,” said Atsushi Uchiyama.
