Kudos to Perodua! The Malaysian compact car manufacturer recently distributed 100 GearUp child safety seats to Perodua motorists at three highway rest areas in Peninsular Malaysia, as part of their on-going five-year Road Safety Campaign which was launched last October. This round of their safety campaign was done in collaboration with their partners Petronas and Perodua's panel of insurers. This is the first time they have done so with them.
One of the oldest Automotive blogs in Malaysia. Since 2006 and going strong. Motoring-Malaysia.blogspot.my is an award winning Malaysian motoring / automotive / car news & reviews website or auto blog. It is where we rant and rave about cars, trucks, buses, motoring, motor vehicles and any interesting automotive industry related stuff. Unswayed in our point of view and darn proud of it! It's not about the numbers...it's about passion.

Perodua Launches 5 Year Road Safety Campaign & Perodua Child Safety Seats
Perodua has launched a 5 year road safety campaign here in Malaysia. This campaign is aimed at improving the behavior of drivers starting with reminding drivers to practice good driving habits and also adhere to road traffic laws (which some Malaysians seem to choose not to). There will be four salient points of this new campaign. These are the use of seat belts, non-use of mobile devices whilst driving, the use of turn signals (which a lot seem to forget to use) and the use of child safety seats (which should be used instead of the child sitting on the parent's lap sometimes).
