BMW Group Malaysia Begin Exports of the MINI Countryman to Thailand

BMW Group Malaysia has started its exports of the newly unveiled, locally assembled new MINI Countryman. They had delivered the first units for its export programme to Thailand making BMW Group one of the few manufacturers exporting cars from Malaysia. The variants exported to Thailand are the MINI Cooper S Countryman and the MINI Cooper S Countryman Hightrim.

New MINI Countryman achieves 5-star rating in Euro NCAP crash test

The new MINI Countryman recently achieved the top 5-star rating in the Euro NCAP crash test. This testing procedure had established that the largest model in the history of MINI provides an outstanding level of protection for the driver and all passenger seats in every situation. Well, at least its a super safe, Maxi MINI. There is such a thing with the MINI Countryman I think.

MINI Malaysia launches the MINI Cooper Countryman - Cooper & Cooper S variants from RM239,888 onwards

MINI Malaysia  unveiled the All-New MINI Countryman on friday, 14th of April 2017. This is essentially version 2.0 of the maxi sized MINI. The first generation (codenamed R60) was first launched back in 2010 and was produced till sometime last year. 

MINI Malaysia Takes Charge with New Fitness Adventure Campaign staring the MINI Countryman as well as year end sales offers

MINI Malaysia today introduced the MINI Takes Charge fitness campaign, where four trainers from four gyms have designed fitness routines fitting to the distinctiveness of the MINI Countryman. Like the Adventurer, the four dynamic workout routines are a combination of power, speed, control, strength and adrenaline. Boy, as a certified car person, I just got tired just by looking at all of these trainers doing all the stuff in the video below. And in the photos.

The original BMC, BL (and maybe Rover) Mini and its Riley Elf, Wolseley Hornet, Mini Moke, Clubman, Countryman & pick up variants at the Auto Bavaria Mega Fest 2016

Lots of original, classic British Motor Corporation / British Leyland (and maybe Rover) Mini (with their owners, obviously) attended Auto Bavaria's Mega Sales event a couple of weeks ago. Here are some photos of it. Note the Riley Elf variant above and below (the one that has a different front and rear end). The Elf was the 'luxury' version of the Mini together with the Wolseley Hornet - exterior differences between the two include a different grille and the dashboard  

New Large Mini Cars - 2015 Countryman and 2015 Paceman

The New Large Mini cars are in. Let me type that again. LARGE MINI. Could there be an oxymoron that can beat that in the car industry? Maybe one could if they had a car called Ginormous and then is sized like a Perodua Viva. Anyway, Mini, the brand, has launched the all new Mini Countryman and Mini Paceman for 2015.
