The Latest Mercedes-Benz Actros Has Been Launched in Malaysia [Video Preview Included]


Hap Seng Trucks Distribution Sdn Bhd, the official distributor for Daimler Trucks in Malaysia has just launched the latest generation Mercedes-Benz Actros truck or prime mover. There are many variants and options but the base vehicles are 4x2, 6x2 and 6x4 prime mover trucks which can be configured with various equipment levels. The basic walkthough of the truck (mostly the 6x2) is featured on our Youtube channel as well as a presentation of the engine and AMT transmission unit. You can view the video below.

Truck News: Major order of 1,000 Mercedes-Benz Actros by Girteka Logistics over in Europe..really major order.


And over in Europe, Mercedes Benz Trucks procures an order for 1,000 Mercedes Benz Actros prime movers. This is Mercedes-Benz Trucks' largest fleet order from Eastern Europe in its history. A framework agreement for the delivery of 1,000 Mercedes-Benz Actros with Euro VI engines has been signed with Girteka Logistics, a Lithuanian logistics company, earlier this month. The agreement will be an important milestone in the partnership between Girteka Logistics and Mercedes-Benz Trucks. The majority of the trucks will be handed over to the logistics specialist within the current year.

Now a bit on some trucking news here in Malaysia. Mercedes Benz Commercial Vehicles, like their passenger vehicle arm, has done well in Malaysia for 2015. As the distributor of Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicles and FUSO trucks, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia delivered to customers a respective total of 193 units and 2,430 units. In doing so, Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has effectively increased its market share in Malaysia for both European and Asian truck segments. The 2,623 units sold represented a 5.5% increase in their overall sales over 2014.
