Bus / EV News: DEFTECH Announces the Putra NEDO EV Bus - Malaysia's First Super Quick Charge Electric Vehicle


DEFTECH, DRB-HICOM's subsidiary has unveiled Malaysia’s first Super Quick Charge (SQC) Electric Vehicle (EV) - the Putra NEDO EV bus. The SQC EV Bus project is part of  the Memorandum of Understanding entered into by Perbadanan Putrajaya (PPj) and New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO) of Japan. The SQC EV bus project is the first step into making the Federal Government Administrative Centre, Putrajaya, a more eco-friendly city.

Electric Vehicles / Bus News: Go Auto Enters Into Joint Venture With Mara Liner & Higer Bus Company to Develop, Manufacture and Use Electric Buses in Malaysia




Go Automobile Manufacturing Sdn Bhd (Go Automobile), which is part of the Go Auto automotive manufacturing and distributorship group of companies has entered into an arrangement with Mara Liner Sdn Bhd (MLSB) and Higer Bus Company Limited. The parties mentioned have established a strategic partnership to develop, manufacture and engineer the production of electric buses meant for Malaysia.

TRUCK NEWS: 300th FUSO Truck Delivered To Biforst Logistics & MoU entered for intent to purchase FUSO electric truck in the near future


Today was the official hand-over and delivery of the 300th FUSO truck to Biforst Logistics. This occasion marks as a historic milestone in the long-standing relationship and trust between Mercedes-Benz Malaysia Commercial Vehicles (which owns the FUSO brand) and Biforst Logistics.

BHPetrol provides Electric/Plug-In Hybrid vehicle charging stations for FREE at the Sg Kayu Ara station, PJ & the Sg Besi Harmony station,

BHPetrol (Boustead Petroleum Marketing Sdn Bhd) recently marked its 11th year in the petroleum business by installing re-charging stations for Electric and Plug-In Hybrid vehicles at two of their stations - the BHPetrol station at Kg Sg Kayu Ara, Petaling Jaya and the one located at Sg Besi Harmony (after the toll plaza towards Seremban). This value added service by BHPetrol is a step by the company into developing a sustainable community and also a small step for the company into other renewal sources of energy.
