Good news! BMW Malaysia is promoting the quick adoption of child car seats through a subsidy programme that is part of the BMW Safety 360° initiative. This time the initiative is held together with Childline Foundation and Safe ‘n Sound where 150 Units of infant carrier car seats will be available at a subsidised price of RM100 each only. The move is in line with the Malaysian Transport Ministry's move to enforce the use of child seats starting January 2020 (with warnings given out for the first six months for any one caught doing so). This is less than a month down the road.
One of the oldest Automotive blogs in Malaysia. Since 2006 and going strong. Motoring-Malaysia.blogspot.my is an award winning Malaysian motoring / automotive / car news & reviews website or auto blog. It is where we rant and rave about cars, trucks, buses, motoring, motor vehicles and any interesting automotive industry related stuff. Unswayed in our point of view and darn proud of it! It's not about the numbers...it's about passion.

Perodua Pushes Its Child Car Seats Safety Campaign Up a Notch Ahead of the Mandatory Use Scheduled for 2020

Perodua has ramped up its Child Car Seats Safety Campaign ahead of the mandatory use scheduled for 2020 by the Malaysian government. Back in October 2017, Perodua launched a few long-term safety campaigns aimed at all road users, especially its customers, on the importance of using turn signals (which many Malaysians still don't), wearing seat belts (which many Malaysians still don't), not using mobile devices while driving (which many Malaysians still do) and restraining children in child seats (which many stupid, idiotic, dumb parents still don't have proper seats). This round of reminders from Perodua are about the child safety seats.
