UPDATE: It's December and I am taking things easy...

Yup. It's December folks and this is the reason you only see bits of news pieces here and nothing much about me driving this or bitching about that or writing some stuff about a car I like or don't like. I am taking things easy this month as it's the holiday season here. There is also a family vacation coming up and I would also like to remind you readers out there that I do have a life aside from motoring, automobiles and driving.

Sports Car News: Lotus Elise Race 250 launched with range of track-specific options as standard



Meanwhile, over in Hethel, UK the chaps at Lotus Cars have released the latest version of their popular Lotus Elise, the Elise Race 250. This track specced car is eligible for many race series around the world and it has been developed to meet the high demands of the track, with a raft of performance-oriented features as standard.

Sport Cars: Lotus 50th Anniversary celebrations - the 3-Eleven at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Lotus Elise Cup 250


Lotus Cars are a bit excited about their two latest cars. One is the Lotus 3-Eleven and the other, the Lotus Elise Cup 250. Both cars have just rolled off their respective production lines over in Hethel, UK. Just in time for the 50th anniversary celebrations of Lotus Cars.

Industry News: Lotus Elise wins Readers' Champion Award



The Lotus Elise has been announced as the Readers' Champion at the Autocar Awards. Most of you are aware that Autocar magazine UK is world renowned and is the benchmark in automobile test reviews. Heck. I grew up reading Autocar ever since I could read and picked up my father's Autocar magazine in the 1970s.

Alfa Romeo 4C previewed at the Geneva Motor Show

The Alfa Romeo 4C. It looks so.......so......so LOTUS ELISE with an Alfa nose! A Lotus Elise in drag.

This leaves me a little disappointed.  It really does. Really.
