Team Malaysia had managed to come up on top after competition with other top mechanics from India, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia. Aside from the usual trophy, some prize money and bragging rights, the win also gave them a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work with the Renault F1 pit crew at the Singapore Grand Prix 2018.
