Ital Auto Malaysia - The current authorised Importer and Distributor of Ferrari here has officially opened its new Kuala Lumpur showroom at the Four Seasons Place - Ferrari Purosangue and Roma Spider also Official Unveiled for Malaysian Customers

 Today, Ital Auto Malaysia Sdn Bhd officially opened their brand new Kuala Lumpur showroom at the Four Seasons Place, which is located at that very strategic location right beside the PETRONAS Twin Towers/ KLCC. This new showroom is the first step taken by Ital Auto Malaysia, who are currently the official importer and distributor of Ferrari in the country.This is the new home for new and old Ferraristis here and has all the hallmarks of the latest Ferrari Showroom Experience.

The official opening of the new showroom was attended by Mr.Dieter Knechtel - President of Ferrari Far East and Middle East Hub, Mr. Zahir Kelvin Ong Abdullah - Executive Director of Ital Auto Malaysia and Mr Damien Woo - General Manager of Ital Auto Malaysia. 

The showroom marks another chapter in the history of Ferrari in Malaysia and is a new start for the current distributors Ital Auto Malaysia. The showroom sits on 3,826 square feet of space and is designed to fit two Ferrari on display at any one time inside it for customers and fans to view. Every personnel at the showroom have the training and the experience to deliver the required standards befitting Ferrari for optimum customer experience according to the management team. There are also interactie displays, a unique brand experience video wall as well as everything you need to spec out your Ferrari from steering wheel, seats and other trimming inside and out. From leather strip samples to body colour for you to imagine what your dream Ferrari is like.

The official opening of the new showroom was attended by Mr.Dieter Knechtel - President of Ferrari Far East and Middle East Hub, Mr. Zahir Kelvin Ong Abdullah - Executive Director of Ital Auto Malaysia and Mr Damien Woo - General Manager of Ital Auto Malaysia.

Ferrari and Ital Auto Malaysia had taken the opportunity to launch the latest Ferrari models - Firstly, the Purosangue SUV crossover with a 715hp V12 heart, all wheel drive, Purosangue means Thoroughbred and from what it looks, does live up to its name. Ferrari's first crossover four-door sports car is indeed unique in the flesh. Something you need to view personally to come up with a conclusion about its looks. It is priced at RM5 million inclusive of duties and taxes and is Ferrari's most multi-purpose vehicle to date - For those that need a four-door Ferrari and a lot more comfort but with the V12 up front. 

Secondly is the front engined, rear wheel driven Roma Spider, a svelte soft top sports car that wants a more relaxed roadster rather than their mid-engined V8. Still a classic Ferrari in all terms as it follows a long line of Ferrari convertibles or Spiders that started with the 365 GTS 4 in 1969. Note the previous Roma and Portofino had a folding hard top and the Roma Spider goes back to the soft top configuration. According to Ferrari, the soft top matches the refinement of the hard top in terms of noise levels and it only takes 13.5 seconds to retract it down at speeds of up to 60kmh. It features a 612hp V8 twin turbocharged engine powering the rear wheels and costs RM3.2million with taxes and duties.

It is fitting that these cars are celebrated together with the launch of the new Ferrari Ital Auto Malaysia showroom. I am pleased that Ital Auto Malaysia has secured such a strategic location in the heart of Kuala Lumpur for the benefit of our local Ferrari community."

All Ferrari cars purchased from Ferrari Ital Auto Malaysia are backed by a seven (7) year extended warranty with genuine maintenance to preserve the performance and excellence that are the signatures of the cars built at Maranello. Aside from that extended warranty, Ital Auto Malaysia has already set up and are operating their dedicated Ferrari service centre in Glenmarie, Shah Alam. This is a state of the art centre and is fully equipped with specialised and approved equipment as well as using genuine spare parts. There is Ferrari diagnostic equipment operated by Certified Master Technicians with over 10 years of experience to ensure that the Ferraris are well serviced and maintained there.
