Recently, the Volvo XC90 SUV has earned a 2023 TOP SAFETY PICK+ award from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The announcement comes after the IIHS strengthened the requirements for its TOP SAFETY PICK (TSP) and TOP SAFETY PICK+ (TSP+) awards.  The new, tougher, criteria demand better side crash protection, improved pedestrian crash prevention systems, and the elimination of subpar headlights from the field of qualifying vehicles and the XC90 midsized SUV was deemed to be one of the safest in its category for all those mentioned above.

So in conjunction with the above mentioned announcement, Volvo Car Malaysia has decided to package in a complimentary five- year service package (VSA5+)  for those booking the Volvo XC90 B5 Ultimate Mild-Hybrid  or the XC90 Recharge T8 Plug-in Hybrid from 1st March to 31st March 2023. You would need to pay for this usually and you could be saving a pretty penny if you decided to register your booking within that period.

This is a a limited time offer, customers interested in the Volvo XC90 B5 Ultimate Mild-Hybrid or the Volvo XC90 Recharge T8 Plug-In Hybrid should register from 1 March until 31 March 2023 and enjoy a complimentary five-year service package (VSA5+). Those interested with the IIHS rating, the biggest change to the criteria comes with the replacement of the original IIHS side crash test. Both mild hybrid (XC90) and plug-in hybrid (XC90 Recharge) versions of the XC90 earned a TSP+ award.

In addition to award-winning safety, the XC90 Recharge offers up to 77 kilometres (NEDC) or 35 miles (EPA) of all-electric driving in Pure mode.
