THE ELANTRA FACELIFT LAUNCHED AT ALL HYUNDAI SHOWROOMS

Hyundai has started selling the facelifted Elantra already. According to Hyundai Sime Darby, there are 14 Improvements and Upgrades of the Elantra Facelift. I've driven this model when it was launched a few years ago. It was not a bad car to drive actually. I only thought the seating position was a bit high and that the center air vents were a little too direct to the fingers (if adjusted to face the driver). I suppose the vent issue has been corrected. The first gripe is very personal and would actually mean something if one wanted to use it to drive fast all of the time (and feel like a race car driver seated low all of the time). So it isn't that big of an issue to most of the general population of Hyundai drivers out there.

What the Elantra gets for its facelift are basically :-
Exterior
1.Overall length increase to 4,550 mm – 20mm longer than its predecessor, while maintaining its wheelbase. Front and rear bumpers are extended by 5mm and 15mm, respectively, with a more stable, balanced look - (Yes. It does look more cohesive than the pre-facelifted one in my opinion)
2.A newly-designed front bumper and radiator grille
3.Redesigned fog lamps
4.Adoption of LED Light Guide
5.A new pair of Projection Headlamps that add a dynamic, high-tech feel to the Elantra
6.Redesigned alloy-wheels
7.Rear Combination Lamps also accentuate the Elantra’s premium image
Interior
8.Relocation of the air-conditioning vents
9.New TGS (Transmission Gear Shift) Gear Knob
10.Upgraded Supervision Cluster with 3.4-inch OLED (Organic Light-Emitting Diode) Display for easy reading. The OLED is clearer than the conventional dot type display for increased readability and information delivery
11.Flex Steer System on the steering wheel that enables drivers to choose from normal, comfort and sport mode
12.Rear air-conditioning vents for the comfort of the rear passengers
13. MirrorLink Audio Visual Receiver
14.Last but not least, both the 1.6 Premium & 1.8 Premium Variants are also upgraded with 6 airbags
