Tuning News: New 2014 Mercedes Benz C180 W205 tuned by Inden Design

The tuning houses have descended on the W205 Mercedes Benz C-class. Here we have Inden Design, tuner of Ferrari and Mercedes Benz over in Germany coming up with their interpretation of the entry level C180 model. This could be inspiration to those local car enthusiasts who intend to get the new C-class and start making it slightly different from the norm.

ABT Tunes the New, New Beetle

"The totally new 2012 Volkswagen Beetle has barely hit most markets around the world but as usual, the tuning houses have gotten their hands on it. ABT, known for tuning VW Group cars have their pimped out Beetle ready and wants us to call it the 'Speedie'. A bodykit, alloy wheels and 'go-faster' stripes and it deserves to be called 'Speedie'? Bodykits hit the streets so fast it makes your head spin. The new R172 Mercedes Benz SLK gets tweaked as soon as its out of the showroom. But as usual, its only about the looks. Performance parts take awhile longer.

ABT does the C7 Audi A6

ABT has already brought forth its tuning package for the newly launched C7 Audi A6. I suppose its going to take a while before the local, not very quick, slightly sluggish to respond, distributors to bring it in. And when they do bring it in, we're not going to see any S models. Why can't they bring the whole range? People are buying Audi by the shipload these days. There isn't a day in downtown KL where I don't see a large Audi driving around and come to think of it, they're mostly grey imports.

Novitec Rosso Pumps Up The Ferrari California and BMW Makes The X6 Into A 5 seater

Novitec Rosso brutalizes the Ferrari California. Ferrari cars need to be brutal and aggressive looking but the Ferrari California is a little feminine looking. Novitec Rosso's Race 606 Ferrari California tuning package somehow does this.

BMW adds a proper 3 seat bench at the rear of the X6 instead of individual rear seats. It does not make the BMW X6 into an MPV, but allows the X6 to carry three abreast instead of only two. But the question is, do BMW X6 owners have any friends to carry around?

Mansory Does The Evora With Lotus' Blessing....Why?

The Honda CRZ and One With Totally Radical Mods

I nearly threw up the tea I was having when this photo came up into my laptop. A CRZ with a turbo as big as its engine. And yes, it is still a hybrid. So it still supposedly saves the ozone layer, rain forests, tuna, whales and so on. Amazing. I promptly noted that the car is also Japan's Car of the Year, beating out the new VW Polo. This was of course the highest ranking non-Japanese car in the event, but I suppose, the CRZ had more innovation than the Polo (and that it is Japanese not German).
