Happenings: Renault ‘Buy & Win’ Contest Ends With A Renault Twizy Fully Electric Car Handed Over to the Winner

The Renault 'Buy & Win' Contest which was held from January to June 2018 had found the grand prize winner. TCEC, the sole franchise holder for Renault vehicles in Malaysia, recently handed over the Grand Prize of a Renault Twizy 100% electric vehicle to Mr Lam Ming Wei, the winner of the Renault ‘Buy & Win’ contest.

The 2016 Renault Formula 1 Car will be on tour at Renault Showrooms and Roadshows in the Klang Valley

If you are a motorsport or specifically a Formula 1 enthusiast or 'kaki', or you support the Renault Formula 1 Team then you can catch a lifesize model of the 2016 Renault R.S. 16 Formula One car in display at selected Renault showrooms and Renault roadshows in the Klang Valley.

Happenings: First Renault track day for 2016 at the Sepang International Circuit

Last 4th of February,  Renault distributor for Malaysia TC Euro Cars held a track day session for Renault owners at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC). A total of 30 Renault Sport owners attended and drove their Megane RS and Clio RS cars round and round the circuit. Hopefully to their hearts content.

Renault will maintain its prices for 2016 here in Malaysia & a bit on the Renault Fluence

Renault in Malaysia will still be sold at the same prices for 2016. This is what TC Euro Cars, distributors for Renault in Malaysia have announced. Whilst you may have read other car manufacturers announcing price increases, Renault are staying firm with its current prices.

Renault CLIO GT LINE Now Available at Showrooms Nationwide

TC Euro Cars, the sole franchise holder for Renault cars in Malaysia, today announced that the sporty and stylish New Renault CLIO GT LINE is now available in showrooms across the country. It is available at the confirmed retail price of RM118,000, on-the-road inclusive of GST without insurance for private individual registration.

Upgraded and facelifted Renault Megane RS 265 Cup launched officially in Malaysia

TC Euro Cars, distributors of Renault in Malaysia have the upgraded 'normal' Megane RS 265 Cup on sale already. It may be 10hp less than the RS 275 Trophy R, but the point is that you could actually go buy one tomorrow if you wanted one as the Trophy R cars that were allocated for Malaysia are gone, sold, finished. Long before the official launch. 

Renault Twizy electric car launched in Malaysia

Renault's local distributors TC Eurocars launched the fully electric Renault Twizy recently. The zero emissions fully electric urban roundabout. A highly drivable car, uniquely easy to use, with zero emissions and zero pollution, the Renault Twizy is particularly well-suited to new forms of urban mobility and business use such as car sharing, fleet, tourism or private use, new urban development products and even last-mile deliveries. It is priced from RM71,888 onwards. I drove this car and I have written on the drive experience here. Do read it as the car is surprisingly interesting to punt around.
