SISMA Auto officially opens their BYD 3S Centre in Glenmarie, Shah Alam

SISMA Auto, the Multi-brand premium automotive group earlier today opened the largest BYD 3S Centre in the automotive hub of Glenmarie, in Shah Alam, Selangor The new 3S centre which RM5 million is a Class-A BYD facility and has a spacious nine-car display showroom and a 16 service bays which was designed to accommodate the growing number of BYD customers. This comes after the news that BYD has already sold over 1,000 units of their Atto3 SUV in Malaysia.

 The showroom area of the new BYD 3S Centre has been designed to showcase all the new models that will soon be launched for the Malaysian market. The 16-work bay service centre has the capacity to service over 1,000 customers a month. It is equipped with the latest diagnostic equipment, specialised tools and jigs and also climate-controlled storage areas for sensitive power battery components.  There is also a New Energy Vehicle room for repairing all high voltage components. The BYD Centre here will also have 2 AC chargers as well as 2 fast DC chargers which are now in the midst of its installation process. This allows customers with rapid charging if they visit the centre. It does show SISMA Auto's commitment in this ambitious Chinese automotive brand as it spreads it wings throughout Malaysia. 

According to SISMA Auto, the BYD SISMA Auto 3S Centre has already received the seal of approval from BYD Founder and Chairman Wang Chuanfu during his visit to Malaysia on 4 May 2023. SISMA Auto Group Managing Director Syed Khalil bin Syed Ibrahim said that the company, with its 30 years of experience in partnering with premium automotive brands like Jaguar Land Rover and Volvo, was well positioned to offer a premium 3S experience to BYD owners in Malaysia.

When asked about how long it would take SISMA Auto to recoup its investment on the centre, Syed Khalil mentioned that if should take somewhere between three to four years with sales of about 100 units per month to do so. We also asked on whether the close distance to BYD Centre located in Sime Darby's automotive hub in Ara Damansara he also stated that the location of their centre in Glenmarie is still feasible as it is located in Malaysia's largest automotive sales hub. The customer base is large enough and they are able to cater to another set of customers. It does help out that the Glenmarie area is packed of every brand from Lamborghini, Jaguar, Land Rover, Peugeot, Mazda, Proton, Perodua and more. So here, the BYD brand presence could actually cater to even more walk in customers than the BYD outlet in Ara Damansara. 

The opening of the BYD SISMA Auto 3S Centre  also means that the SISMA Auto Hub pre-owned luxury car centre will move next door to the premises previously occupied by the company’s Volvo Service and Selekt Centre. SISMA Auto’s Volvo business will now be relocated to its new flagship Volvo 3S facility in Sungai Besi, which is set to open soon. Volvo customers of SISMA AUTO do take note on this.

In conjunction with the opening, the BYD SISMA Auto 3S Centre will be hosting a special carnival for the entire family from 2 till 11 of June 2023.  The BYD SISMA Auto Electric Dreams Carnival will be held daily from 10.00 am till 5.00 pm. Customers and visitors who register for test drives are entitled to door gifts, snacks and lucky draws.
