Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia is celebrating Chinese New Year 2020 with a bang. A nationwide CNY Open house will take place on the 8 th February 2020, which is a Saturday, from 11am till 5pm at all authorized Volkswagen dealerships in the country. This time around, Volkswagen’s Chinese New Year’s theme focuses on the Chinese character “旺” which translates to “wong”, meaning good luck and prosperity. 

So, the “wong” in this case, is given in abundance to new and existing owners through great rebates and aftersales offerings, a CNY feast complete with “yee sang” and exciting activities for the whole family. If you have nothing else to do this Saturday, which also falls on the very nice 8th day of the month (8 is a very good number for the Chinese), you could go see some new Volkswagen and more at any Volkswagen dealership here in Malaysia.

A highlight at the event will be the newly launched Passat 2.0TSI Elegance. This newly launched here in Malaysia Passat is the latest facelifted variant of Volkswagen's popular large sedan. It features  a redesign of the exterior and interior, improved connectivity and updated lighting signatures. The new Passat Elegance is priced at RM187,990, and for a limited time only is offered with free 1-year insurance.

To those considering a Tiguan variant (Highline, JOIN and Sound & Style) will enjoy additional “wong” as it now comes with additional 1-year free insurance and 1-year free petrol rebate.

Volkswagen owners celebrating at the open house are invited to book a

slot for complimentary 20-point inspection or to enjoy up to 20% discount

on batteries and tyres.

Those with free maintenance vouchers who spend a minimum of RM388

will receive a free fluid top-up consisting of coolant, windscreen cleaner

and engine oil, while those without a voucher will only need to spend a

minimum amount of RM488 to take advantage of the offer. VCP

customers are entitled to the same benefits as above with only a

minimum spend of RM288, all subject to terms and conditions.

All Volkswagen models come with 3 years free maintenance, 5 years

unlimited mileage warranty and 5 years roadside assistance.
