Volkswagen Cares Programme launched - A Free Car Workshop for VW Owners

Volkswagen Malaysia has launched the Volkswagen Cares Programme recently. This is a series of free car workshops exclusively for Volkswagen owners. The first Volkswagen Cares programme was conducted at Volkswagen Wearnes Sg Besi where a total of 12 Volkswagen owners attended this inaugural session.

The two part session consisted of a session in a classroom. This theory classroom session covers safety and fuel saving tips, proper child safety steps, what to do in emergency situations as well as an in depth explanation of the different features available in Volkswagen cars and how they can be fully utilized to benefit the owners. The second part consisted of a hands-on demonstration of basic maintenance tips and simple visual self-checks was conducted by trained aftersales technicians in the service area of the Volkswagen service centre.

Volkswagen Malaysia says that the Volkswagen Cares programme was developed in efforts to further enhance and boost ownership experience for Volkswagen customers. It is currently planned to be  a free quarterly programme which will be initiated and conducted by participating Volkswagen dealers for their customers. Do visit the Volkswagen Malaysia website on when will the next workshop session be scheduled for or keep in touch with your respective dealers for more info.

This actually does help owners in some ways. We may think we know everything there is about cars but sometimes, going for a refresher course like this actually helps brush up knowledge and skill. You may end up with more than before you attended such a course. And note that you get a certificate of participation too. Something to fill up your certificate folder just to make it thicker.

Do remember, the key word here is 'FREE'. Take advantage of it.
