Shell Malaysia and Boost E-wallet Collaborate with 800 Shell Stations Throughout Malaysia accepting cashless payments via Boost

Cashless, e-wallet style payments using Boost can now be used at 800 Shell stations throughout Malaysia. 

Earlier today, the e-wallet provider, Boost, and Shell Malaysia officially announced that Boost e-wallet payment service is available at 800 Shell stations nationwide. The partnership has a goal to enhance customers’ retail experience at Shell stations by providing them with an alternative payment method aside from the usual cash, or card methods.

Shell Malaysia Awarded Green Building Index Certification for Two of its Stations - More Eco-Friendly Solutions for Sustainable Business Practices

Shell Malaysia today was awarded the Green Building Index (GBI) Certification for two of its stations. The Shell Damansara Jaya and Shell Taman Connaught stations are now recognised as ‘green buildings’. This is quite a surprise for me as I usually frequent the Shell Damansara Jaya for my occasional cup of Costa Latte and a slice of Pizza from one of the retailers there (there is a Pezzo Pizza outlet there as well as Boost Juice aside from the usual Shell Select pastries and nasi lemak). Anyway, the station is GBI with solar panels on the roof of the station and the usage of LED lighting, smart urinals and more clever stuff which you don't really see. So never did I realise I have been frequenting such a eco-friendly place.

The First UnManned Shell Select Station Powered by BingoBox Retail Technology Opens in Kuala Lumpur

Shell Malaysia recently launched the first Shell Select station that is unmanned. Yes, no human beings are involved and it is open 24 hours with cashless payment as the method of choice. This is suitable for introverts and / or extremely shy technology savvy people!
