Happenings: Ford’s global Driving Skills for Life (DSFL) Programme reaches out to AIG Insurance Employees & the Public this time around

After offering its  Ford’s global Driving Skills for Life (DSFL) programme to a few colleges over the past few months, Ford and its local distributor, Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC), recently offered safe driver training and road safety awareness programme to corporate partners and members of the public. Licensed drivers comprising employees from AIG Insurance as well as members of the general public participated in two half-day training sessions at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) quite recently. This is the tenth year that Ford is offering free training to licensed drivers of all ages.

Ford Continues its ‘Driving Skills for Life’ Programme with over 140 participants this time around


With the main aim to reduce road accidents in Malaysia, Ford and local distributor Sime Darby Auto Connexion (SDAC) organised another six sessions of their Driving Skills for Life programme, a flagship global corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme offering free-of-charge, hands-on driver training. Over 140 licensed drivers participated in this programme.

Ford’s ‘Driving Skills for Life’ Programme Expands to Students in the North of Peninsular Malaysia


Ford and Sime Darby Auto Connexion had recently continued the global Ford initiative Driving Skills for Life (DSFL) programme here in Malaysia. They had hosted workshops for students (DSFL is aimed at educating students on proper driving techniques) in Penang at the Han Chiang College.

Students from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM / UIAM) participate in Ford's Driving Skills for Life Programme



The Ford Motor Company (Fomoco) continued its efforts to raise road safety awareness in Malaysia through its global Driving Skills for Life (DSFL) programme.  After sessions with the German Malaysian Institute, Taylor’s University and Malaysian Multimedia University, the company recently hosting workshops for students at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).

MMU students participate in Ford's Driving Skills for Life programme

Recently a group of students from the Malaysian Multimedia University (MMU) was given the chance to participate in Ford's half day Driving Skills for Life programme. This half day, free of charge programme is aimed at raising awareness of safe driving and if actually beneficial for newly licensed drivers like these university students from MMU.
