Volvo Trucks Malaysia Introduces New FH, FH16, FM and FMX models for Malaysia

Volvo Trucks Malaysia has revealed that they will be introducing four newly upgraded truck models - the Volvo FH, FH16, FM and FMX. These new models, with their familiar model names have been designed with a strong focus on the driver environment, safety and productivity. These heavy duty trucks, are now enhanced ad upgraded with highest levels of standard in safety, productivity, fuel efficiency and driver focus.

2020 marks the tenth year of the Volvo FMX series of trucks. This is a heavy duty truck that has been specifically developed for the demanding construction industry. Over the past decade, the FMX's ability to cope with tough conditions has evolved as a result of the introduction of many innovative features. Aside from being developed from the ground up as a heavy duty truck, adding better features and equipment over the years since its introduction, has made the FMX one of the better heavy duty / construction trucks on the market, especially in its current form.

Volvo Trucks Malaysia Post Record Sales Numbers For 2019

Volvo Trucks announced earlier today that it has recorded its best truck sales performance ever in the  50 years of the company conducting business in Malaysia. Volvo Trucks Malaysia sold  479 units of prime movers and rigid truckslast year and this was a 6.5% increase of 29 units more than the total number sold in the previous year.  According to the company, approximately 70% of the units were their Volvo FM series of trucks while the rest were the Volvo FMX and Volvo FH heavy duty models. This was a 29% share in the prime mover / heavy hauler market segment based on date from the Malaysia Automotive Association (MAA).

Trucks: LTS Group Takes Delivery of 38 units of Volvo FM Prime Mover Heavy Duty Trucks

Volvo Trucks recently delivered 38 units of the Volvo FM370 4x2T RAS prime mover to the Lee Ting San Group of Companies (LTS Group),  who are one of the largest logistics companies that provides transportation, container haulage, warehousing and maintenance services here in Peninsular Malaysia.  The LTS Group supports nationwide and cross- border transportation services and have been around since 1974.

Trucks: Konsortium PD Sdn Bhd Adds 17 New Volvo Trucks to Their Fleet With Another 11 More Coming in 2019

Volvo Trucks Malaysia recently handed over 17 new Volvo trucks of various models to Konsortium PD Sdn Bhd. The handover was held at their Konsortium PD's headquarters in Lukut, Port Dickson. Of the seventeen trucks, two of them were the Volvo FH440, seven were Volvo FM370 and eight were Volvo FM440. Both the senior management of Volvo Trucks Malaysia and Konsortium PD were present at the small ceremony.
