The sports car company delivered three times the number of cars in 2017 compared to the previous year. 5,390 Porsche cars reached customers last year with Taiwan, Singapore and Vietnam as its largest and strongest markets for 2017.

Porsche Asia Pacific kicks off Licence to Thrill Campaign - The Search for the 2017 Porsche Asia Pacific Driver of the Year
The search for the 2017 Porsche Asia Pacific Driver of the Year kicks off with the launch of the region-wide Licence to Thrill campaign. Seeking the region’s best and most skilled drivers, the competition comprises two qualifying rounds which will put knowledge, skill, and passion for the wheel to the test for the chance to win the title and a fully sponsored trip to the Porsche Experience Centre in Los Angeles, USA. Best of all, this contest is open to members of the public from Brunei, Cambodia, French Polynesia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mongolia, New Caledonia, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam. Automotive Industry Opinion: Porsche sold 5,589 cars in South East Asia last year - Malaysia is one of their key markets
Porsche sold about 5,589 Cars over in the South East Asian region in 2016. You may think that 5,000 cars is a small number but this is a premium luxury brand. Each car sold would cost an average of RM400,000 to 700,000 with or without high taxes. Multiply that by 5,000 and you see that is is a significant sum.
