Upcoming JAECOO J5 launch RM8,888 early bird package as well as early bird booking package for the also upcoming OMODA C9 PHEV

OMODA | JAECOO Malaysia are pushing towards the launch of the Jaecoo J5 compact SUV. This B segment sized SUV is scheduled to be launched by early March 2026 here in Malaysia and the brand has announced that the estimated price of the J5 to be around RM110,000.00. This is RM10,000 less than they announced previously. They have also announced an early bird package for the J5 as well as an early bird booking package for the upcoming Omoda C9 PHEV (plug in hybrid - estimated to come in at around RM220K).

The J5 gets a Super Early Bird package worth RM8,888 to reward customers who secure their bookings ahead of next month's official launch while the early bird package for the C9 PHEV comes to about RM4,618. 

The announcement was made during a Media Appreciation event, which served as a strategic update on the brand’s 2026 trajectory. The evening also marked the formal introduction of  Mr Chris Tan as the new Head of OMODA | JAECOO Malaysia, signalling a fresh chapter of leadership as the brand prepares for its most significant launch of 2026.

Aside from that piece of news, OMODA JAECOO Malaysia also stated that they are aggressively expanding its sales & service network. To date, the brand has 50 authorized dealerships in 2025 and will brand will expand to 65 locations nationwide in 2026. This expansion towards customer contact points ensures that premium sales and aftersales support remain easily accessible to customers across every major region in Malaysia.

The upcoming launch of the JAECOO J5 (est. RM110,000) and the OMODA C9 PHEV (est. RM220,000) represents only the first phase of the brand’s 2026 roadmap.
