We don't really post anything much from Sabah (or Sarawak for that matter) but Hyundai has opened up a second 3S centre over in KK. Hyundai-Sime Darby are gearing up throughout Malaysia.

KOTA KINABALU, 25 April 2014 – Hyundai customers in Kota Kinabalu can now enjoy another premium sales, service and spare parts facility with the opening of Hyundai’s new 3S centre here in this capital city. Operated by Sime Darby Auto Hyundai (SDAH), this new 3S centre is its ninth outlet in Malaysia.

The official opening of the 61,500 sq ft centre, the largest Hyundai 3S centre in East Malaysia, was officiated by Ms. Audrey Byun, General Manager of Dealer Enhancement, Asia & Pacific Regional Headquarters, Hyundai Motor Company.

The RM4.5 million centre will serve approximately 1,500 Hyundai customers in the West Coast of Sabah. This new facility features a showroom, 6 service bays which can be expanded to 10, a self-sufficient customer lounge with wi-fi and a spare parts centre.

Another outstanding and unique feature of this centre is the exclusive Leader Card member’s lounge dedicated to owners of premium Hyundai models. The lounge offers beverages, internet surfing area and cable TV. Its conducive environment is ideal for business and working professionals who need to get work done while on the go. The Leader Card is an exclusive privilege that comes with the ownership of premium Hyundai models (new Santa Fe and i40). It offers premium services and VIP privileges to members at all Hyundai 3S centres as well as concierge services and personalised medical assistance. Other additional services provided at this centre include Quick Service, Shuttle Service, complimentary 20-point inspection, and car wash.

According to Mr Lau Yit Mun, Managing Director of Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM), the setting up of a 3S centre in Sabah especially in Kota Kinabalu is in tandem with the increasing demand for Hyundai cars. “We are gaining encouraging market share in Sabah with our popular SUV models such as the Tucson and Santa Fe with 2,677 registered Hyundai vehicles in the state of Sabah. With the setting up of this 3S centre, we can reach out to our customers and offer excellent and innovative services,” said Mr Lau.

In conjunction with the official opening of the centre, SDAH also presented a cheque amounting to RM5,000 to SJK (C) Chung Hwa, Kota Kinabalu as part of SDAH’s CSR effort to support educational causes and also to help maintain the school’s facilities.

Sime Darby Auto Hyundai’s 3S centre is situated at Lot 7, Jalan Limau Manis, Off Jalan Lintas, Kolombong, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The sales showroom and service centre is open from Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.15pm. On Saturdays the service centre is open from 8.30am to 12.45pm but closed on Sunday and public holidays. While the showroom is open on Saturdays and Sundays from 8.30am to 3.00pm and closed on public holidays.
