Recently, Hap Seng Trucks Distribution announced that the Lukut, Port Dickson based transport company Pearl Castle had invested in ten brand new Mercedes-Benz Actros 6x2 prime movers. This new purchase from the trucking solutions provider was made to expand its 70-strong fleet of vehicles which are used in the petroleum, water supply and construction sectors.
Pearl Castle has been a customer of Hap Seng Trucks Distribution for the last four years, and, according to Mr. Puvaneswaran a/l Asaithamby, Managing Director of Pearl Castle, the company is very satisfied with the service it has received from HSTD as well as with the quality of the trucks.
“The Actros prime mover is a solid and reliable truck, and this is a key benefit for us,” said Puvaneswaran.
He also stated that Pearl Castle will be buying more Mercedes-Benz Actros trucks in the future as they expand our fleet further. Aside from the purchase, he also mentioned that managing the maintenance of the trucks is a constant concern for the transport company and HSTD’s Actros Service Contract helps to maintain the trucks well so that they can just focus on getting their work done.
Pearl Castle have also benefited from a total solutions package in terms of these ten prime movers. The financing for the vehicles via the loan facility was handled by Hap Seng Credit.
Pearl Castle provides a complete transportation service for petroleum products and water supply in Peninuslar Malaysia. The company is particularly strong in the central region - Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Melaka and Negeri Sembilan but also reaches many remote areas and difficult to reach locations, and so operates a varied fleet of diesel trucks with load capacities ranging from 2730 to 43680 litres.
The company was the first transporter to transfer 30,030 litres of DIESEL from Gerik Jetty to Hibrid Kemar Solar Station, the biggest solar station in Malaysia.
