Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and Hap Seng Star launch their Latest Autohaus in Setia Alam



Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and Hap Seng Star earlier today, have together officially launched its newly relocated Mercedes-Benz Autohaus in Setia Alam. It features a new luxury brand presence and exclusive luxury lifestyle boutique for the folks and Mercedes-Benz customers in and around Setia Alam, Selangor. This new, very much larger, Hap Seng Star Setia Alam Autohaus outlet features new enhancements and upgrades that embodies a luxurious retail experience concept for customers, showcasing the brand’s commitment to be a leader in the luxury retail experience while strengthening its customer touchpoints throughout Malaysia.

This new Setia Alam, Selangor Autohaus is indeed impressive in terms of its facilities and its size. It feels like it is one of the largest, if not the largest we have visited so far. Since it is also the newest to be officially launched, it features the latest in Mercedes-Benz's retail experience. During our visit there for the launch, it does actually convey a sense of space and also that premium customer experience you'd expect from the Three Pointed Star.

The Hap Seng Star Setia Alam Autohaus is managed by 29 personnel and sits on approximately 79,000 sqft of land area with a total of seven floors. The showroom floor spans over 11,526 sqft with space for 16 cars on display and features new amenities such a self-service cafĂ©, kid’s playroom and a luxurious ladies powder room for an overall exclusive and comfortable experience for customers. 

The lifestyle retail experience also includes Mercedes-Benz luxury accessories and collection boutique, catering to a wide range of customers with a variety of collectables and products.


With this new Autohaus, Hap Seng Star have also increased their customer services (aftersales) capacity with a work area of over 29,549 sqft with expandable work bays. This allows a potential service capacity of up to 1,500 cars a month. Scheduled service maintenance and major repairs are carried out by trained technicians equipped with complete and approved special tools from Mercedes-Benz. Other service differentiation offerings range from Express Service 2.0, pick-up and delivery, drop-and-go service booking, wheel alignment and balancing, electrical diagnosis and repairs, paint coating, glass tinting along with insurance and warranty claims.

Hap Seng Group has stated that they have invested a total of RM673million to date, which includes the recent RM99mil investment into this new Setia Alam Autohaus. The group currently operates Mercedes-Benz Autohaus in 10 locations,which includes Kuala Lumpur, Kinrara, Balakong, Jalan Ipoh, Bukit Tinggi, Setia Alam, Melaka, and Iskandar Johor in Peninsular Malaysia. In East Malaysia, Hap Seng is present in Kuching and in Kota Kinabalu. Hap Seng Group also operate a standalone Mercedes- Benz Certified Pre-owned Centre in Kinrara and a standalone Body & Paint centre in Shah Alam.
