JAECOO’S FIRST LOCALLY ASSEMBLED C9 PREMIUM SUV COUPÉ ROLLS OFF THE ASSEMBLY LINE AT SHAH ALAM PLANT

JAECOO Malaysia is geared up for 2025 as the first locally assembled C9 by JAECOO Premium Off-road SUV Coupé rolled off the Shah Alam assembly plant line yesterday. Production of the Omoda C9 SUV Coupé, gere called the C9 by JAECOO as it is offered through JAECOO showrooms in Malaysia is the second model to be launched under the JAECOO umbrella. This is in schedule to its projected timeline to begin deliveries by January 2025. Read more details of the C9 here folks (the launch article)

JAECOO is ready to deliver on the Malaysian market’s demands with the first locally assembled C9 Premium Off-road SUV Coupé rolling off its assembly line. “We are very happy with the encouraging response for our C9 Premium Off-road SUV Coupé and ready to deliver on the Malaysian market’s demands. As a brand that is invested for the long term, we are equally dedicated to taking care of our customers throughout their ownership journey with us. Looking ahead, JAECOO continues to keep our finger on the pulse to ensure we deliver best-in-class vehicles and services that suit the market’s current needs,” said JAECOO Malaysia Vice President, Emily Lek.

In addition to the C9 SUV Coupé AWD and 2WD variants, the assembly plant in Shah Alam currently produces the JAECOO J7 AWD and 2WD SUVs. Both models are currently available for viewing, test drives, and bookings at JAECOO authorised dealerships across Peninsula and East Malaysia.

The C9 SUV is a great addition to the lineup as it adds another level for JAECOO customers to enter into. This is sportier, more of an urban sports wagon rather than the square looking J7 and plays to a slightly different, yet still premium market here.
