Spotted for Sale: Butchered to heck 1969 W108 Mercedes S-class

I sometimes wonder what the heck were they thinking when people start projects like this one pictured herein.

They take a car that already has some classic status and rarity, throw away the original engine, plonk in a 1JZ ('tiwe' should mean twin turbo) without a proper ECU, which means that the car cannot run or even start but they give you a new 'betty' - battery. The logic amazes me.

They also get rid of the beautiful chromed steel bumpers and replace them with a over the top customized steel (which looks like fibreglass too) bodykit that does not suit the car's original lines one bit and then try to flog the thing off as they suddenly decided that they have bitten off more than they can chew. What were they trying to acheive in the first place?

Oh, the English is appalling of course. What do you expect from a 'POJACK' car? Another classic car bites the dust.

From the original advert in mudah.my:

1969 benz classic w108
1jz tiwe turbo(A)
19" sport rim AMG
eniji tintop
betty baru
full bodykit steel
ecu takda
pojack car
jual murah
10k…nett

No ECU, but they'll give you a free 'betty' ...err... battery. Why bother.

19inch wheels??? Quad DTM styled tailpipes - we're going places, folks!!!!
