PROTON – MSF Merdeka Race Carnival 2022 on 27th and 28th August 2022 at Sepang International Circuit

 PROTON partners with Malaysia Speed Festival (MSF), the organiser of the MSF Saga Cup racing

series, to create the PROTON – MSF Merdeka Race Carnival 2022 on 27th and 28th August 2022 at

Sepang International Circuit which harks back to the halcyon days of the original PROTON 300km

Merdeka Race of the late-90s which was the first ever race to be held at Sepang Circuit on 11-13

December 1998.

• MSF is a National-level racing series started in 2010 and is an official Motorsports Association of

Malaysia (MAM)- sanctioned car racing championship which aims to promote affordable blue-collar

motor racing as well as the grassroots-level motorsport scene in Malaysia, bringing about motor racing

for all walks of everyday-Malaysians, involving more than just the drivers: the industry includes families,

teams, workshops, parts dealers, and more.

• This sponsorship collaboration will bring PROTON closer to motorsports fans with many attractions and

activities offered helping reignite the motorsports-passion and industry-involvement by PROTON

• The company will also have a special promotion for current PROTON models, spare parts and financing

packages and merchandise as well as free evaluation of used cars and free inspection of Proton cars,

encompassing the wide range of products and services available from PROTON.
