Time Attack At Sepang With The LMY 'SNAILZ'

-Y.C Foo's STI

This happened last Sunday. It was an event worth watching, even if it was really wet. I wore traditional moccasin style loafers which had their soles stitched to the insole. The water wicked through the threads causing feet to be really damp throughout the whole event. But it was worth it. Read and enjoy by clicking on the title above or here.

A big shout out to LMY Automobile & Services Sdn Bhd (SS13 Subang Jaya), the proprietor of LMY cum car tuner extraordinaire Mr Andy Lee, Mr Foo, Mr. Jun and all the Snailz boys who attended the event and made this article happen.

-An Exige belting it out in the wet
- A Impreza TS belonging to a friend of mine at the HPC track session before the time attack. Another LMY track 'kaki'

Thanks to Mr Baharudin Ide of Sharptone Photographic for the excellent pictures. Those not so excellent ones are by yours truly.

Admittedly, i was not there, but isn't that white 'FWD' Golf Mk5 in your article is in fact an R32. Which of course is all-wheel-driven?

And why do you say turn 9 is a downhill lefter? It surely is an uphill. Or do you mean a that slight downhill gradient before the actual turn...

yes..that small gradient...

the VW has a fully chromed grill like the R32 ..but it was a GTI.

A comment was removed because it had racist comments.

Secondly, it was done anonymously..if one was brave enough, one should use his/her own name instead of hiding behind the veil of anonymity.

Thirdly, even if the prices for repairing a car may seem exorbitant, it could mean that you cannot afford the car actually or you like going to a mechanic that charges cheap but you have to end up going there more times. Which works out to the same thing.

Fourthly, as I said, this isn't a democracy.

Regards folks,
