WIN AN ALL-EXPENSES PAID BIKE ROAD TRIP TO LANGKAWI WITH SHELL ADVANCE #Advance2Langkawi

Shell Advance has another CONTEST for you folks out there. This time, simply whip out your smartphone or camera, or simply dig through your photo album and choose a photo of your most memorable road trip moment, caption it and share it on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag #Advance2Langkawi.

Based on the most creative entry, five lucky winners will be able to bring one riding buddy each to an all-expense paid 4-day 3-night road trip to Langkawi! The winner and the friend will get to ride their own bikes on the trip lubricated by Shell Advance, and fueled by Shell V-Power

I would suggest posting truly epic pictures. Something like in the photo above. The one below is subjective, not really epic road trip material...'tattoo angkatan tentera' type maybe....and I wouldn't recommend it. Unless you don't want to win of course.

This fun and rewarding Shell Advance #Advance2Langkawi consumer contest runs from now till December 31, 2015.

Shell Lubricants General Manager – Malaysia and Singapore, Leslie Ng, said that the unique consumer contest is to engage Malaysian bikers.

“We know how much bikers love to go on long rides and we would like them to share with us the key moments that capture their passion for riding.  From Shell, we would like them to experience our technologically superior Shell Advance motorcycle engine oil featuring our proprietary PurePlus Technology.  It promises to make every ride more enjoyable with no power loss mile after mile, no matter how far or how hard you ride,” he said.

Shell PurePlus Technology is a revolutionary gas-to-liquid (GTL) process that converts natural gas into crystal-clear base oil with virtually none of the impurities found in crude oil. GTL base oil delivers higher levels of cleansing and superior wear and corrosion protection. As a result, Shell Advance Ultra with PurePlus Technology is able to offer a clean start and deliver more and sustained power every time.

Leslie added, “Shell Advance Ultra with PurePlus Technology is the only motorcycle engine oil in the market that is made from natural gas.  It is a result of our long involvement in motorsport that has enabled us to transfer cutting-edge lubrication technology developed for race tracks to products for everyday use on the road.”

Shell’s Technical Partnership with Ducati which started in 1999 with the World Superbike Championship, was extended to include the MotoGP™ championship in 2003.  In 2014, Shell Advance signed a three-year deal to become the title sponsor of the Asia Talent Cup.

Shell has also renewed its title sponsorship of the Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix, having reached an agreement with Dorna Sports, the MotoGP™ rights holder, to support the FIM MotoGP™ World Championship and the Sepang International Circuit’s hosting of the Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix for the 2015 and 2016 championship seasons.
