Mercedes Benz Malaysia launches the EQE 350+ Electric Art Line, EQE 350+ AMG Line EV sedans and the EQE 350+ SUV Electric Art Line &EQE 350+ SUV AMG Line

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia had launched four new Mercedes-Benz EQE variants in conjunction with the roll out of Star Elegance, a first-of-its-kind lifestyle retail concept within the automotive industry, which made its debut at Hap Seng Star Bukit Tinggi. The concept, tailored for those that need a little pampering while waiting to get their Mercedes-Benz matters can look forward to getting their nails done in comfort. These are the new Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ Electric Art Line, and the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ AMG Line EV sedans as well as the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ SUV Electric Art Line and the Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ SUV AMG Line which is now on sale alongside the current Mercedes-Benz EQE 500 4MATIC SUV. Each of these have been designed to cater to different facets of driving luxury, technology and their respective price points.

Today, we extend our commitment to electromobility with the introduction of four new model variants of the Mercedes-Benz EQE sedan and Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV."

As Mercedes-Benz pushes into the Malaysian EV segment, it aims to cater to their customers with cutting-edge technological advancements, such as the 22 kW onboard AC charging system, which significantly reduces charging time using regular AC wall sockets to under the five hour mark to a full charge. These fast AC charging capabilities now come in all Mercedes-Benz EQE variants sold here making things easier for drivers or owners who have less access to DC charging.

Other class-leading equipment for the cars includes rear axle steering, a panoramic sunroof, and DIGITAL LIGHT, enhancing driving dynamics and comfort.

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia also states that their vehicles come with a 10-year battery warranty or up to 250,000 km, showing their commitment to reliability and peace of mind for those that buy their Electric vehicles.

The EQE sedan

The sporty sedan offers all the essential functions of the EQS in a slightly more compact format Note the name EQE, which means that this is an EQ or what Mercedes-Benz calls their current line-up of electric vehicles, with the 'E' at the end for the E-Class variant within the EQ lineup..

The EQE features a sporty purpose design with all the characteristic elements of Mercedes-Benz EQ, one-bow lines and cab-forward design. The efficient design features generously modelled surfaces, reduced joints and seamless transitions (seamless design).to improve air drag coefficiency .

The overhangs and the front end are kept short, the rear provides a touch of sportiness with a sharp rear spoiler. The battery has a usable energy content of 90.56 kWh and the range of up to 682 km according to WLTP rating, which is pretty high for EV cars these days.

The base variant Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ Electric Art Line features an Electric Art exterior and interior, 19-inch 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, ARTICO man-made leather black / space grey upholstery, Advanced Sound System, and comes with an alternating current (AC) onboard charging system capable of charging the vehicle with up to 22 kW. The EQE 350+ Electric Art Line builds on the rich equipment level of the former EQE 350+ with AMG Line and thus comes with DIGITAL LIGHT, Driving Assistance Package, laser-cut backlit trim with Mercedes-Benz pattern, active ambient lighting, KEYLESS-GO Comfort Package, and Parking Package with 360° camera.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE 350+ AMG Line has been upgraded with new features such as a

panoramic sunroof, Radiator grille with Mercedes-Benz pattern, rear axle steering with up to 10° steering angle adjustment, AIRMATIC air suspension, an electric charging socket flap, and

features an alternating current (AC) onboard charging system capable of charging the vehicle

with up to 22 kW. This level of equipment and electric performance allows the new EQE 350+

with AMG Line to set the benchmark in the segment of electric luxury business sedans in

Malaysia.

The EQE SUV is the multi-purpose variant of the EQE executive sedan. It is available with the essential innovations of the EQS and at the same time is more dynamic than the EQS SUV. THis is the E-Class equal in the SUV lineup. and is one of the most spacious representatives of its class. The vehicle achieves a total output of 215 kW and an increased range of up to 596 km according to WLTP. The new EQE 350+ SUV variants in Malaysia debut with an additional colour choice, velvet brown metallic, expanding the range of available colours in the Malaysian market..
