At MCVE 2024 -- CAM launches the CAM KINGO 6AT 15/18 Seat Van with Euro 5 standards

R&A Marketing sdn. bhd, a company under the Sendok Group, the official distributor of CAM and King Long minivans in Malaysia since 2010 has launched the CAM KINGO 6AT 15/18 seater van at MCVE2024.  It has an all new Italian JV 2.4l euro5 diesel engine 145ps and an all important flat torque from 1400-2400rpm of 400Nm. one of the first few to bring in the much cleaner Euro5 vans here, which means it brings cleaner engine tech and in line with engine technology in developed countries.

The Kingo notably features 16inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs, double rear cooling coil units with 6/9 vents for great passenger cooling, dual sliding doors for ease of access, reverse camera and ABS EBD as well as dual airbags in Kingo variant. The auto transmission also makes it easy for the driver in traffic. Priced at RM144,800 for 15 seater and RM164,800 for 18 seater. 6years warranty and 200,000km is good for a commercial van here in Malaysia.

An improvement featured in this model aside from the very much cleaner Euro 5 emissions standard is the new automatic transmission. The 6 speed automatic features three drive modes - automatic, manual and sport (this may be a sporty van to some you know). It also has uphill/downhill assistance and low or high temperature detection and will adapt continuously.

The Kingo has been designed to be easy to drive and handle with its driver layout, reverse camera and automatic transmission even in full 18 seat configuration. The extra long van platform means that it is suitable for many types of use from a school van, tourist van, ambulance or even a hearse.

CAM is one of the exhibitors at MCVE 2024 at MIECC (till saturday 11th May) and they have also displayed their premium mini bus - the 2.9l Euro 4 CAM Co-Star and its JAC i75 fully electric light duty truck.
