New brand JAECOO is ensuring that its progress into the Malaysian automotive market is doing well. With Malaysia recently coming in front of Thailand to become Southeast Asia's second-largest auto market, after Indonesia, global premium off-road SUV brand, JAECOO, is committed to developing a strong service network in Malaysia and making sure it can gain a foothold here. So recently, it has signed into a partnership with 30 dedicated dealers as part of its long-term growth strategy at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024.
The 30 dealers will operate a total of 35 dealerships responsible for the distribution and after-sales service of JAECOO premium SUVs across the central, northern, southern, and east Malaysia regions. JAECOO Malaysia was represented by President, Leo Chen, and Vice President, Emily Lek at the signing ceremony.
The purpose for all of these dealers is so that the brand is ready to deliver a premium SUV ownership experience in Malaysia. JAECOO has its independent sales and service network system positioned to redefine the premium off-road SUV ownership experience. To fulfil this commitment, JAECOO Malaysia dealerships are designed with brand signature features including a Super Walkway to greet customers upon entry. Other creature comforts include a dedicated coffee bar, exciting product displays, and a dedicated delivery lounge, to complete the experience.
JAECOO Malaysia’s network of dealerships are also supported by a dedicated auto parts warehouse and a production plant established in Malaysia. This is actually extremely important as aftersales is sometimes more important that selling a vehicle. So JAECOO Malaysia has placed emphasis into this.
“Our investments encompass an ecosystem of strategically positioned dealers and comprehensive facilities, complemented by a strong team of service advisors and highly skilled technicians. This is the foundation of JAECOO’s strength and a testament of our readiness to launch in Malaysia,” explained Vice President, Emily Lek.
JAECOO has stated its intention to mirror its global mandate here in Malaysia and hopes to reshape the product value of the off-road new energy market here. The brand is reported to be bringing a more intelligent, efficient, and safe off-roading experience to global users, and writing the prelude to JAECOO's new energy story with a technological leap.
Now, this being in conjunction with the Malaysia Autoshow, 2024 JAECOO has also previewed vehicles that will be sold here. They displayed the JAECOO J7 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) and the JAECOO J6 full-fledged Electric Vehicle (EV) - pictured below. The autoshow is ongoing till the 26th of May 2024
Amidst the accelerating transformation of the new energy landscape, JAECOO shares that its vision to deliver innovation is in line with its brand ecology, "New Energy, New Eco, New Era." This sets the tone for JAECOO in the coming years as it intends to contribute new products, new technologies, and a new ecosystem to benefit the Malaysian market. The signing of so many dealerships signifies their push to ensure that their sales network is ready to handle all situations. Since they intend to enter the premium end of the segment, this is essential to ensure that everything goes well for customers who expect a higher standard than usual for their vehicles and the services provided by JAECOO.
