New sales campaign by Shell Advance called the #outrideanything campaign. The Movement Control Order (MCO) over the past few months has impacted the livelihood of many Malaysians, including those who rely on their motorcycles for their daily income. As Malaysians are adjusting towards the new norm with industries opening in the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) period, Shell Malaysia hopes to give bikers and bike mechanics something to look forward to, with its three-pronged #OutrideAnything campaign. The Malaysian MotoGP weekend is underway and the activities regarding motorcycles are many. Yesterday,  Ten lucky motorcycle mechanics were presented awards by Ducati MotoGP motorcycle racer Andrea Dovizioso and Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd Managing Director Shairan Huzani Husain at an exclusive meet-the-fans session organised by Shell Malaysia ahead of the 2019 Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix this weekend. Many braved the traffic to make it to the event which was attended by Grab bike riders and a few motorcycle clubs, notably the Desmo Owners Club Malaysia. Aside from that, local celebrity Fattah Amin who is also a Shell Advance brand ambassador for Malaysia attended the event.

Shell Malaysia Launches Two New Shell Advance AX7 Semi-Synthetic Motorcycle Engine Oil Variants

Shell Malaysia Trading Sdn Bhd had launched two new variants of their popular Shell Advance AX7 semi-synthetic motorcycle engine oil. These are the new Shell Advance AX7 10W-30 and 15W-50 which add to the existing Shell Advance AX7 10W-40. The two new variants are both priced at RM33.90 per 1-litre pack (recommended retail price). So there are now three different grades of the AX7 engine oil.

Shell Malaysia Road Safety Movement or in the era of hashtags, the #ShellSelamatSampai (#SSS) is a Shell Malaysia CSR programme. The programme is all about road safety awareness and behavioural change among motorcyclists and the youth, who are said to have the highest fatality rate in road accidents in Malaysia. So for 2018, Shell Malaysia has launched another round of it this #SSS campaign with four major programmes aimed at putting through the importance of road safety among the target audience.

SHELL ADVANCE LAUNCHES MASTERCLASS SERIES FOR LOCAL MOTORCYCLE MECHANICS

Shell Advance has launched an exclusive Masterclass training programme built for local motorcycle mechanics as part of its new ‘Outride Anything’ brand campaign . The Masterclass programme comprises seven online videos developed in collaboration with Ducati to guide and provide mechanics with expert knowledge and tips on proper motorcycle maintenance. This is also part of the roadshow that Shell Malaysia plans to carry out in conjunction with the upcoming 2017 Shell Malaysia MotoGP.

SHELL ADVANCE CONTEST GRAND PRIZE WINNERS GET A TRIP TO CHINA AND A TRACK DAY

Recently, five lucky Malaysians had won the grand prizes of the Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup promotional contest held on the 31st of May to 30th July 2015. The lucky five won an all-expense paid trip to Zhuhai, China to catch the fourth round of the 2015 Shell Advance Asia Talent Cup (SAATC) motorcycle racing championsion which was held recently. I suppose you can consider them the extra support or cheerleaders for the seven Malaysian riders competing in that round. 

A week after the Grand Prize winners had enjoyed their trip to China, Consolation prize winners were treated to a fun day out on the tracks at the Elite PLUS Speedway Go-Kart Track at Shah Alam.  They were given an opportunity to go on laps on the 150cc MiniGP bikes (which  look absolutely tiny on some of the prize winners) or go-karts, compliments of Shell Advance.  Some of the Malaysian riders taking part in the 2015 SAATC also came for a meet-and-greet session and to train at the track.
