The All-New Renault Megane R.S Finally Makes it to Malaysia - To be on Sale Later this Year

The fouth generation Renault Megane R.S. was finally previewed here in Malaysia. Renault Sport's latest ultimate hot hatch is based on the Megane hatchback with a lot of magic sprinkled on it. It was first offered on sale in 2018 over in Europe and it will be launched here later this year. For Malaysia, we will be offered the more cooking Cup chassis in both the manual transmission as well as the Efficient Dual Clutch (EDC) automatic transmission.

Happenings: Renault ‘Buy & Win’ Contest Ends With A Renault Twizy Fully Electric Car Handed Over to the Winner

The Renault 'Buy & Win' Contest which was held from January to June 2018 had found the grand prize winner. TCEC, the sole franchise holder for Renault vehicles in Malaysia, recently handed over the Grand Prize of a Renault Twizy 100% electric vehicle to Mr Lam Ming Wei, the winner of the Renault ‘Buy & Win’ contest.

Zero GST - TC Euro Cars Announces New Zero Rated GST Prices & Current Promos for Renault Cars [UPDATED - 28 May 2018]

TC Euro Cars (TCEC), the authorised distributors of Renault in Malaysia, have announced the new Zero GST prices for its Renault vehicles. The revised prices will take effect immediately with the upcoming implementation of the zero-rated GST (from the 1st of June 2018 onwards) till further notice. Aside from the zero GST pricing,there will also be additional offers in the form of rebates depending on which Renault model. One can save up to RM40,000 from all of the rebates.

The New 2018 Model Year Renault Captur is Now Available in Malaysia - Prices Stay the Same At RM109K++ (For the Moment)

 The 2018 model year (2018MY) Renault Captur is now on sale in Malaysia. The latest Captur now features a sportier looking exterior with new two-toned colours and an interior further refined for enhanced quality. Still locally assembled, the retail price for the Captur is RM109,000 before insurance but it could be subject to change since the GST will be rated as 0% by 1st July 2018 (so do take note folks).

Renault Koleos Signature - A More Premium Variant of The Koleos 2WD is Now Available in Malaysia

TC Euro Cars (TCEC), the authorised distributor of Renault vehicles in Malaysia, have announced another variant in the Malaysian Renault Koleos lineup - the Renault Koleos Signature. This is a a new two-wheel drive (2WD) variant of Renault’s flagship D-segment SUV and it is now available for booking at all Renault branch showrooms nationwide. Prices of this new variant sits somewhere in between the Koleos 2WD and the Koleos 4WD, at RM198,800 (on-the-road inclusive of GST, without insurance, for Peninsular Malaysia and private registration) onwards.

Happenings: Renault Malaysia (TC Euro Cars) Announces The Winners of the First-Round Draw For The Renault 'Buy & Win' Contest

TCEuro Cars, the sole franchise holder for Renault vehicles in Malaysia recently announced the three winners for the first-round draw of their Renault ‘Buy & Win’ contest. The three lucky people are Najhan Pata bin Sairi, Guillaume Li Ting Khoo and Saraswathy A/P Kulasingham. They had bought a Renault Fluence, Captur and Captur models respectively and each of them won RM1,500 worth of travel vouchers.

2018 Renault Megane GT is AlreadyOn Sale - The Price Is A Little Eye Watering However...

TC Euro Cars, the authorised distributors of Renault here in Malaysia are actually selling the new Renault Megane GT. The Megane 4th Generation was first launched over in Europe at the end of 2015 with sales commencing in 2016. Now, in 2018 the car is officially on sale, albeit quietly, without much fanfare here in Malaysia (only on preview at the recent Malaysia AutoShow 2017 a while back).  Great looking car, but the price for this C segment GT hatchback is RM228,000.00. A little eye watering...

Classic Cars: Renault Caravelle Cabriolet Spotted At The Renault Flagship Showroom in Petaling Jaya

I was over at the Renault Malaysia flagship showroom in Petaling Jaya over the weekend for their Chinese New Year celebrations and sales party. Amidst the new Renault cars on display, the flurry of events and other activities was a classic Renault on display - the Renault Caravelle Cabriolet. This is a rare classic here in Malaysia and it is always a pleasure to see such cars in somewhat pristine condition here. From the looks of it, this is a post 1964 1100cc Caravelle.

The New Renault Megane GT - It Will Be On Display At Renault's Petaling Jaya Showroom From The 21st of November Onwards

The Megane is Renault's C segment hatchback and it was first launched at the end of 2015 with sales first starting in Europe in July of 2016. It has taken Renault awhile to bring it over but we will finally get to see this interesting looking hatchback.

In case any of you were wondering why it has taken so long for this announcement to come out it is because this new Koleos has only just been launched over in Europe. We got this car much earlier, September 2016 to be precise.
