Audi Malaysia has launched three new variants of the B9 series Audi A4 equipped with the Tech pack. These are the Audi A4 1.4 TFSI Tech pack, the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI quattro Tech pack, and the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI S line + Tech pack (the sportiest of them all). The new Malaysian Tech Pack variants all have the Audi virtual cockpit as well as a selection of high tech features and equipment not usually featured in entry level premium sedans here.
The three new variants add to the local Audi A4 line-up. It offers customers more choice and equipment levels. The new Audi A4 1.4 TFSI Tech pack now costs RM243,900 over its standard retail price of RM 218,900 for the base Audi A4 1.4 TFSI.
The new Audi A4 2.0 TFSI S line + Tech pack will cost RM 25,000 more than either the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI S line or the Audi A4 2.0 Tech pack, which is RM 298,900.
Finally, the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI quattro Tech pack comes in at RM 334,900, which is an RM 20,000 premium over the retail price of the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI quattro.

Special Introductory Prices for the Tech Pack A4 variants
At this moment, the Audi A4 1.4 TFSI Tech pack, Audi A4 2.0 TFSI S line + Tech pack as well as the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI quattro Tech pack will enjoy a special introductory price of RM 224,900, RM 274,900 and RM 314,900 respectively for vehicles that are 100% assembled at Audi’s flagship production plant in Ingolstadt, Germany and enjoy a 5 year unlimited mileage warranty.
The unlimited mileage warranty looks like a very good deal for a premium brand. The Audi A4s are also fully imported units and the prices seem pretty reasonable considering the Audi A4s are fully imported.

Kuala Lumpur, 28 September 2017 – Audi Malaysia today introduced three sophisticated and technology-laden new variants of the Audi A4, offering not just the acclaimed Audi virtual cockpit but also a carefully curated selection ofhigh tech features not available on any other junior executive sedan including advanced phone connectivity options, futuristic Matrix LED intelligent lighting technology and the high-fidelity B&O 3D Sound System*.

Class-leading Junior Executive Sedans, Now Packed to the Brim with Technology
Amongst the three new variants, the Audi A4 1.4 TFSI Tech pack sees the well-appointed entry-level vehicle receive substantial upgrades including the Audi virtual cockpit, MMI Navigation plus, Audi smartphone interface and reversing camera. Equipped with an advanced 1.4 litre TFSI engine and 7-speed S tronic transmission that develops 150 hp and 250 Nm of torque between 1,500 and 3,500 rpm, this variant is certainly no slouch in terms of performance.
With a 2.0 litre TFSI engine developing 190 hp of power and a maximum 320 Nm of torque enabling a century sprint of just 7.3 seconds, the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI S line + Tech pack not only possesses great performance, but also looks the part with the S line interior and exterior package which adds more aggressively styled front and rear bumpers, 18” allow wheels, S line sport leather steering wheel and numerous other sporty accoutrements. TheTech pack sees a further accentuation of the A4’s progressive nature with the inclusion of the Audi virtual cockpit, Matrix LED, MMI Navigation plus and Audi smartphone interface amongst others.

As the new top-of-the-range variant, the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI quattro Tech pack sees an already generously-equippedvehicle with a high-output 2.0 TFSI engine developing 252 hp (maximum torque at 370 Nm) in order to post a blistering 0-100 km/h time of just 5.8 seconds, quattro permanent all-wheel drive and S line body kit (interior and exterior) as standardnow receive superlative enhancements in the form of the Audi virtual cockpit, Matrix LED lights as well as the advanced B&O 3D Sound System.
Light Years Ahead: A Technological Tour de Force for the Discerning Driver
All Audi A4 Tech pack variants come with various high tech features that showcase Audi’s progressive mindset. Available on all Tech pack variants, the Audi virtual cockpit is a full-colour, high-resolution, fully digital 12.3” instrument cluster that is focused entirely around the driver, and can be customised to provide access to information and functions in tandem with the Audi MMI (Multi Media Interface) with Navigation plus. Already available in the Audi TT coupé as well as the Audi Q7 SUV, this intuitive system now sees the addition of Audi smartphone interface and Audi connect to allow owners to have access to their smartphone applications including Spotify through the Audi MMI interface.
Of particular note on the Tech pack variants for the cars with 2-litre TFSI engines is the inclusion of the Matrix LED intelligent lighting system, which is otherwise currently only availableon the Audi A8L executive sedan in Malaysia. More than just a sophisticated light cluster, Audi’s Matrix LED systems work by combining a camera system with multiple LED light sources and precise optics for better light distribution and management, switching to the various lighting modes including the high beams when necessary and regulating the light distribution patterns to avoid blinding other road users as well. The new Audi A4 1.4 TFSI Tech pack will retail at an additional RM 25,000 from the standard retail price of RM 218,900 for the Audi A4 1.4 TFSI, which puts it at RM 243,900. Next up, the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI S line + Tech pack will cost RM 25,000 more than either the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI S line or the Audi A4 2.0 Tech pack, which is RM 298,900. Finally, the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI quattro Tech pack comes in at RM 334,900, which is an RM 20,000 premium over the retail price of the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI quattro.
