The Michelin deployed franchise network, TYREPLUS, has recently announced that they are in the midst of rebranding their entire network in Malaysia within the next four years. The brand, which was first introduced to this country in November 2009 is reputed to be the largest independent tyre and car maintenance network with over 50 outlets and it it still expanding.
The TYREPLUS network is actually quite a global brand with outlets in China, Thailand, Australia, India, the Middle East and even in South America. First established overseas in 2002, it provides ancillary services ranging from tyre replacement and repairs, oil change, batteries, brake pads and other regular car maintenance services with the support of leading automotive industry brands like Michelin, BF Goodrich, Bosch, Mobil 1, Total and Tech.
Such services are intended to deliver extra-safety and value to car owners here in Malaysia. Whilst they are called TYREPLUS, they offer a wide array of services and tyre brands too as well as offering top notch products servicing and installation by trained technicians for their customers. The best products, fitted by trained personnel should ensure that the cars are safe to be on the roads at any time.
The rebranding of TYREPLUS outlets is quite subtle actually. From a lighter shade of green (pictured above) to a slightly darker one (below). The 'TYREPLUS' wording is now white instead of the Michelin blue. I gather this is to state that TYREPLUS actually sells more than just one brand.
According to Mr. Pascal Nouvellon, Managing Director of Michelin Malaysia, TYREPLUS should keep growing in the coming years as it has met the expectations of Malaysia car owners. In addition to this, promotions are often available at TYREPLUS, thus guaranteeing a "Good Deal" purchase, especially during this Hari Raya festive season.
So from May 28 to June 30, 2017 customers shopping at TYREPLUS have a chance to receive Michelin cooler bags, TYREPLUS branded petrol cards and complementary TECH tyre repair services with the purchase of Michelin tyres. Customers may also receive a free anti-slip mat with the purchase of Mobil 1 lubricants.
TYREPLUS had displays at the launch..above is the battery voltage checker and the safety check work flow board
They also displayed a mock TYREPLUS center with 'work area', reception, Michelin Tyres, Mobil 1, Total, Tech and Bosch products
