DRB-HICOM’s Autofest 2017 promises to be one of the most memorable of the event since its introduction in 2013. The biannual event will be featuring MODENAS’s entry into a new segment, which is the street bike category. The carnival will also include showcases of the latest vehicle models (cars, trucks and motorcycles) and fabulous offers from the 10 brands under the group’s automotive portfolio, namely PROTON, Lotus, Audi, Volkswagen, Honda, Jeep, Mitsubishi, Isuzu and Tata. The three-day family styled carnival will be held from 19 to 21 May 2017, from 10:00am to 6:00pm, at the EON Complex in Glenmarie, Shah Alam. There will be offers, promotions and deals which includes special discounts and amazing exclusive packages from the automotive companies.
Due to tremendous response obtained during last January’s Autofest, DRB-HICOM has extended the carnival to three days to allow more visitors to take advantage of the amazing offers to own a new car and celebrate this coming festive season in comfort and style. It usually is held on Saturday and Sunday. You get today as an extra day so those that are free today can start shopping vehicles early.
All brands under the DRB-HICOM family will be at the Autofest. Euromobil, one of the main distributors for Audi passenger cars in Malaysia is seen as potential crowd puller as they offer discounts of up to RM 90,000 for selected models, ranging from its mid-luxury sedans such as the A3 to its luxury SUV series such as the Q series range of SUVs. And there is that new A4 to look at too.
PROTON cars will offer up to RM13,000 discount, while the Honda range will shave up to RM12,000 off their prices. The Volkswagen range will see discounts of up to RM4,000 being offered, and the Isuzu pick-up range will see discounts of up to RM8,000.
The highlight of the carnival would be the reveal of the MODENAS PULSAR NS200 (PULSAR NS200), MODENAS PULSAR RS200 (PULSAR RS200) and the MODENAS V15 (V15), three new offerings from MODENAS, made successful through a collaboration with Bajaj Auto Limited (BAL) which was launched a day earlier.
A special car auction will be held for PROTON, Audi and Mitsubishi brands this time on 21 May 2017 (Sunday) at 2.30 pm aside from other attractive deals. Throughout DRB-HICOM Autofest 2017 other automotive-related products and services such as car accessories, auto financing, auto insurance and car inspection services (by PUSPAKOM) will also have discounts.
The DRB-HICOM Autofest 2017 has also lined up various fun-filled activities for the entire family, including games such as air hockey and foosball, children’s play area, stilt walkers and clowns, a Pikachu show and street clown performances. Visitors can get a memento of their visit at the DRB-HICOM Autofest photo booth, and also tuck in at the food trucks serving local and western cuisine.
If you’re feeling lucky, stand a chance to win the grand prizes which includes an LG Smart 65” TV, LD 530l fridge, HP Notebook and other fabulous prizes which will be given away through lucky draw sessions on Saturday and Sunday.
