Mercedes-Benz Malaysia (MBM) is now offering the 2019 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 AMG Line in two options - a 5 seater and as a 7 Seater for those that need to carry more or just like having more seats inside their SUVs. Right now, MBM estimates that it will be priced from RM633,888 on the road, without insurance when it goes on sale pending final pricing from the government.
This is the E-Class in terms of Mercedes-Benz SUVs. Like the very much loved sedan, the E-Class SUV gets a lot of on-road refinement but also adds the characteristics of an off-roader. This GLE 450 AMG Line is equipped with the active suspension system E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL and the Active Stop-and-Go Assist driving assistance systems which will enable it to have all-terrain performance as well as the latest in driver's aid systems. It is 2019 you know.
Being a Mercedes-Benz with a '450' badge on it means that it offers more than just the badge. It offers a lot of performance. The GLE 450 AMG Line is fitted with a 3.0liter turbocharged in-line six-cylinder engine which makes 367hp and a nice 500Nm of torque. 0-100kmh is in a hot hatch taming 5.7 seconds and it goes onwards to 250kmh (limited like most German cars these days - unless truly special).
The large SUV offers extended DYNAMIC SELECT transmission modes, the latest stage of development of the air suspension system AIRMATIC with enhanced damping system ADS, the 9-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission, state-of-the-art assistance systems and the latest telematics generation with internet access. The Styling
The GLE 450 AMG Line features an AMG Line exterior and Night Package. The dynamic AMG body kit and styling, diamond radiator grille with chrome pins, 22-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, and MULTIBEAM LED graphics. Notable features include panaromic sliding sunroof and sensual interior such as the brushed aluminium trim.
Air Suspended for Better Wheel Control
The innovation continues with the active suspension system E-ACTIVE BODY CONTROL and the Active Stop-and-Go Assist driving assistance systems. Combining with a fully networked hydro pneumatic, the world first active suspension on a 48-volt basis combined with newly develop air suspension, lending the GLE 450 AMG Line a greater performance on the road.
Interior Comforts
The GLE 450 is also equipped with the MBUX - Mercedes-Benz User Experience, an improvement from the A-Class in which this infotainment system includes two large 12.3-inch/31.2 cm screens which are arranged side-by-side for an impressive wide-screen look.
The system include LINGUATRONIC that obeys practically every word came out from the driver. The MBUX multimedia system recognises and understands almost every sentence occurring in the infotainment functions and vehicle operation.
The new generation SUV also features improved comfort, reflecting it from the Acoustic Comfort Package. It enables the GLE 450 AMG Line to reduce disruptive noise, even when driving at high speeds. It also offers the windscreen and side windows with laminated safety glass with noise-damping film, additionally helping to improve the soundproofing.
