THIS IS THE END...... The Land Rover Defender The End Edition by Chelsea Truck Company

This is a tribute by Khan Design's Chelsea Truck Company for the iconic Land Rover Defender. It is aptly named THE END EDITION. There will be 25 of it built to commemorate the last Land Rover Defender to be built. That rolled of the Land Rover factory sometime last January by the way.

While it may be a limited run, it looks like any other Khan Design Landie that came before it. It gets the same wide arches, big vents and other tough looking goodies. Great looking seats and pedals are a must.

68 years of the Defender. I wonder if the new one can last that long or be as iconic. But we shall only know when it comes out.

PRESS RELEASE

After 68 years, the final Land Rover Defender rolled off the factory line in January 2016.

To pay homage to the legendary British vehicle, the team at the Chelsea Truck Company will create a total of 25 Land Rover Defender ‘The End Edition’ models.

This particular model has been adorned with a purposeful and muscular appearance thanks to the addition of front and rear wide wings with integrated vents and exposed bolt apertures. A new front bumper incorporates integrated lighting and a sump guard. An X-Lander front grille and mesh hood vents complete the facelift.

The vehicle proudly wears a set of 9.0 x 20 Mondial wheels in Volcanic Black with 275/55/20 tyres. In addition, painted brake calipers, a suspension lift, twin cross-hair exhaust system and hard-wearing mud flaps improve the off-road performance of the vehicle.

Towards the rear, the vehicle proudly wears a Chelsea Truck Company spare wheel cover.

Drivers will also benefit from a new Kahn Power Upgrade unit that plugs directly into the engine’s connection points to increase output, power delivery and fuel economy.

Inside, occupants are treated to a wealth of custom tailored opulence. The standard seats have been replaced with front and rear GTB seats in quilted and perforated leather with Harris Tweed inserts.

The same design is also worn by the centre glove box, passenger dashboard, handles, door panels, instrument binnacle, sun visors and the headliner.

A Churchill time clock, Kahn billet and leather steering wheel and vented machined aluminium foot pedals complete the package.

The Land Rover Defender 2.2 TDCI XS 90, The End Edition is currently in production and will be priced at £49,999.

Please be advised, 25 Land Rover Defender models by The Chelsea Truck Company, are available in right and left hand drive configuration, with prices beginning at £49,999 + VAT.
