Spotted for Sale: A 'unique' Honda Civic 2nd Gen for sale

I am flabergasted. I actually own a second generation Honda Civic and used to drive it in the 1990s. But never did I imagine the ingenuity of  my fellow Malaysians when it comes to car modification. Ignore the turbo stickers as according to the original posting, found on a Facebook Honda group, the car has a B18cr engine. Must be the 1.8liter Type-R engine from the DC2 Integra Type R.

But that fact isn't that unique as there have been crazy engined second generation Honda Civics in and around Malaysia. This isn't something new but what is new is the front end of the car - the front end of a EK series Civic gets grafted on this 1979-1983 Civic. The alloy wheels come from a more basic Civic EK (or ES local assembled variant) instead of the five stud alloys of the Type-R. This is a Civic Tap-R. A whole lot of effort. But why? Because we can?

I am truly amazed. And oh, the seller expects us to private message him for the price. He must think highly of it.

From this.....

.....to this. Wow!
